  • Rodrigo was an amazing host, always answering to my doubts and taking care everything was going well. The place is fantastic. It really make me feel at home.

  • Thanks Rodrigo for the great place.

Wonderful apartment, looks just like the photos. Clean, spacious, great kitchen. Rodrigo was always available via email.

Security good at this location, a doorman almost always on duty and the restaurant downstairs looks right into the building entrance so even better security. Restaurant can be noisy into the late evening, but the extra security is worth the noise. Restaurant (Fonda San Diego) has great, inexpensive food too.

Bring or buy mosquito repellent (we were there in March) if you like to have the windows open, especially if you have children. This is NOT a fault of the apartment, there are just mosquitos in Mexico City, any apartment that has open windows will have mosquitos.

  • We never met in person, but Rodrigo was easy to communicate with. The doormen were all very helpful. The place is very bright, so if you need darkness to sleep, bring a mask. But it's great in the daytime to have so much natural light streaming in. Good kitchen, well-equipped, and easy to use. The bed upstairs is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on, and the futon downstairs is also very comfortable for resting or sleeping.

The neighborhood has good connections, you're a 2-minute walk from several convenience stores and the Hamburgo Metrobus stop, and about 5-10 minutes' walk to the Insurgentes Metro station or a standard grocery market (Sumesa). Easy access across Av. Chapultepec to Roma Norte and Plaza Rio de Janeiro, as well as Av. de la Reforma to the north.

There are several charming buildings on the block, including this one, and in the afternoon and evening it's very peaceful. Be aware that during rush hour Havre gets very congested and noisy, as it's the shortest connection between two very busy avenues.

The bakery in the same building is wonderful, and the coffee shop one block south is fantastic.

Bathroom is somewhat tight, but the shower is big and there's plenty of hot water. Great storage upstairs and down. The week I was there, the washer and dryer were out of commission, but had been fixed by the day I left. If this happens again and you truly need to do laundry, there is a laundry service a minute's walk from the building, or the kitchen sink is deep enough to wash items by hand. There was liquid detergent left in the utilities closet, which was a very thoughtful thing to have.

Enjoy your stay in this comfortable space!

  • To celebrate my 40th birthday, as well as Valentine's Day, my wife and I recently chose to visit Mexico City for the first time. After brief research, we decided what area we wanted stay in...and discovered Rodrigo's perfect apartment!

The building was very beautiful, located fairly close to many wonderful sites, and just a few short blocks from the Insurgentes Metro line. We had breakfast (coffee, sandwiches, pastries) every single morning at Panaderia Rosetta, directly downstairs. Right next door was Fonda San Diego, where we enjoyed Valentines Day dinner. Both eateries were very delicious and very convenient :)

The 4 nights we slept in the apartment were some of the most restful nights we've had in a long time, partly due to being worn out from our exploring the city wonders all day long, but mostly because of the very comfortable memory-foam bed! What a great bonus for our vacation.

4 days obviously was not enough time to see everything city has to offer, so we will be coming back soon. And when we do, we will definitely make plans to stay at Rodrigo's apartment again!

  • Good location. .. very close to both subway and Metrobus stations. Apartment was clean and new. We appreciated the washer and dryer too.

  • This place was so beautiful. Such a great space, amazing light! We had such a great time staying here. It can be a little noisy outside- but we think it was just a fluke as it just the first night. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely come back.

  • My Husband and I spent a week at the apartment and had a wonderful time. The apartment is in a great location within walking distance to many restaurants, cantinas and shops. It was well equipped and very spacious and comfortable. Rodrigo checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

There is a lovely cafe just downstairs and a brand new restaurant which opened while we were staying there.

I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

  • Rodrigo is an amazing host. He really pays attention to details and is always trying to anticipate your needs. I asked the guard the first morning if there was a way to turn off the light on the hallway at night to make the room a little darker. When I came home Rodrigo had already ordered the installation a thick curtain in the room! Really a wonderful gesture and a very quick reaction.

Staying at this home is a real experience! The area called "Colonia Juarez" was, in the late 1800's and beginning of the 1900's the most elegant residential area of Mexico City. It had huge mansions built and decorated on the European style of the time. There is an awesome new trend to rescue these buildings and transform them into modern spaces. This one is a particularly extraordinary example. It is also very comfortable and really cozy. Highly recommended! The area is very central and close to everything.

  • Rodrigo is a great host and very responsive. The apartment was comfortable and was a great location. Thank you!

  • I loved staying at this great loft: no detail was overlooked in this mix of old, modern, and industrial space...and Rodrigo was awesome!

The house was clean, the linens soft and warm, the kitchen well-stocked, the downstairs café a delight, the neighborhood chic, the transportation 2 blocks away, and the entrance security personnel helpful (they happily stored my luggage for a few hours after check-out)...I really enjoyed resting there at the end of day and hope the next time I visit Mexico City the space is available!

I took the metrobus (the station is a block and half away) to the airport...the trip door to door was 1 hour 10 minutes. A police officer is stationed at every station and all I approached were eager to help. The bus slowed down at the Centro Historico and it was a great way to take in the sights.
