The apartment is perfectly located in Rome. Ancient history and spectular sites are right around every corner. The unit is spacious, clean and perfect for our family of 4. Our family didn't mind (actually enjoyed) the 3 flights up the stairs to the unit. Luca was a great host and was a tremendous source of information before we arrived. He couldn't be nicer.
Luca was a great host and very welcoming. The flat is spacious and in a very central location. However, it could be quite noisy at night!
The location of this apartment can't be beat. It was also spacious and functional. Lucca and his mother were very nice hosts. The only thing we hadn't realized is that the second bedroom is actually a semi-private part of the living room but it worked well for our needs. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
The apartment is in the perfect location to get around Rome. It's also very comfortable, ideally sized, there is a supermarket next door, and the apartment is completely furnished with everything you might want! I couldn't recommend it more strongly!
We had the bad luck of breaking something in the apartment and Luca and his mother Ida were extremely nice and did not make us feel guilty or in anyway pursue us. It was all handled very quickly and we will gladly stay at Luca's again when we travel to Rome.
If you are looking for a great host, and an ideally located apartment look no further: you are in for a treat!
My husband and his twin brother wished to celebrate their 70th birthday in Rom where they grew up, together with their brother, sister and all children. We were 12 persons for four days in two airbnb apartments which were both absolutely perfect!!! The elderly were in Luca´s apartment which is lovely and most comfortable. We didn´t miss anything and were happy to meet Lucas charming mother at our arrival and departure.
We can only highly recommend it!
Luca was a great host. The place is conveniently located near everything. Farmers market in the morning less than a block away. Trastevere is 5 mins across the bridge. Pantheon and Trevi fountain are 10-15 min walk. Colosseum and Spanish steps are 15-20 in different directions. It's a very walkable place surrounded by a good amount of young people. The surroundings can get loud at night on weekends, but it's Rome. Week nights aren't too loud. Toilet paper and towels were provided. Internet works as well and easy to connect to wifi. Would definitely come back!
Could not ask for a better location to enjoy Rome. Luca's mother was very kind and showed us every detail in the apartment to ensure our stay was happy and safe. The apartment is large and clean. Fantastic restaurants are nearby and the taxi can easily drop you off and pick you up from this location. We will stay again, if we are lucky enough to return to Rome.
Amazing location perfect for walking around the old parts of Rome, 3 doors up from a little supermarket , and one of the nicest apartments I've stayed in. Lucas mum let us in and was totally welcoming and lovely and helpful. There is street noise on the weekends, but it didn't bother me or my wife at all. It's at the top of a super cool old building, so there are a lot of stairs - that's pretty much how it is in Rome though.
Would totally recommend!

The apartment was very spacious and nice. The kitchen was well equipped (small fridge) and the wifi worked well. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. It is on a nice pedestrian street very near the Ponte Sisto bridge, Campo dei Fiori plaza, Grom (very good gelato) and Roscioli bakery. The apartment was very quiet except for on Friday and Saturday night when the street in front was full of partiers walking to and from the Trastevere neighborhood across the Ponte Sisto bridge.
