About this listing
Centrally located, this one bedroom apartment is ready to show you a true San Francisco experience. The neighborhood has a wide range of restaurants, small shops and bars reflecting the melting pot of cultures.
The Apartment is located on the second story of a two story building, above a popular art Gallery in the Tenderloin. When it's not rented for airbnb, the space houses international artists that show at the gallery. The space is ideal for 2-4 people, with two queen beds in the bedroom.
There is a large roof which guests are welcome to enjoy from 6am-10pm, like a backyard space. We enjoy lunching on the roof regularly and live in the second apartment across the hallway. The roof is shared, otherwise the apartment is private.
Interaction with Guests
Because we also live in the building, we can be accessed easily for inquiries or recommendations. We also enjoy privacy and can respect yours, so a friendly hello in the hallway is fine and you can be left to enjoy your adventure.
The neighborhood is vibrant, with a mixture of residential and commercial buildings. There are tons of places to eat and drink and explore without being too "touristy", it feels like a true San Francisco neighborhood.
Public transit runs all around the area. We are very central, everywhere that you want to get to in the city is most likely walking distance or a short bus ride.
Other Things to Note
There is street parking in the neighborhood which is metered from around 9 am to 6 pm, free all day Sunday, and there are a few different parking garages close by that charge around $25/day.
-No smoking indoors
-If you make friends with the cats on the roof deck don't let them out the front door towards the street
-No late night roof deck hanging out, after 10 pm please take it indoors
