The neighborhood is extremely convenient and safe with access to one of the premium shopping mall in Salvador, convenient stores, Barra scenic area. A Bradesco ATM nearby offers very convenient cash advance service that allows you to withdraw local currency using your own debit/credit card in other country. Bus station to historic area(Pelourinho) are just within 4 mins walking distance. Lili is very helpful, a true problem solver. She gave us a lot of great recommendations for food, spots. Definitely one of the best hosts I have ever met.
It was quickly obvious why Liliana has earned the title of "Super Host". She was very responsive, answered my questions and provided suggestions of activities as soon as I reached out to her. She arranged my airport pick up and drop off and her instructions for accessing the apartment were accurate. Liliana was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond the role of host to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Her apartment is as pictured- clean, tidy and filled with beautiful & creative art (some made by her!!!!). She is located in the perfect location- walking distance to the beach and close to the mall (with its bank and eateries). Liliana was very liberal with refrigerator items such as water and fruit and the wifi was reliable. As a single traveler, the bedroom was more than adequate for me and my luggage. I had an opportunity to hang out with her the evening of my arrival and again for an AfroBrazilian Jazz show. I had a great time with her and her friends and it was wonderful for her to include me. As an English-speaking traveler, it was great to have a guide to assist with communicating and to write down key words for me to remember. Her knowledge of Brazilian culture and of local customs were very helpful and her recommendations for drinks/dinner were spot on. It was a pleasure to stay with Liliana- her warmth and hospitality made me feel like I was visiting a friend.
Our stay with Liliana was very nice! The room as well as her flat was lovely and absolutely clean. She knows a lot about the city and helped us where ever she could. The flat is located conveniently near a bus stop, a shopping center, a super market and a fruit market. Finding your way to/from the airport and the main tourist attractions is easy. Although driving in Salvador is a bit more crazy than someplace else, we did find a rental car quite useful (but everything is accessible by bus/cab as well!). We enjoyed staying here very much and we recommend this place anytime!
Liliane is the best host ever! I had a great time in Salvador despite the very short time I could spend there...she made me feel confortable straight away, and gave me invaluable tips regarding my key areas of interests, having accompanied me at times. The apartment is cosy and super well located. I couldnt ask more.
Très bon accueil, Liliana a été très agréable et sympathique, nous aiguillant pour nos choix de visites. Chambre propre, fonctionnelle, calme.
Liliana is a wonderful host, very considerate and very helpful. Her apartment is ideally located in a nice neighbourhood in Barra, very close to the Barra shopping centre, the beaches along both the Atlantic and the bay, the light tower and the wonderful spot between two fortresses for sunset. She got numerous advice on where to go, what to see and eat and how to enjoy the stay in Salvador, including but not limited to tourist sight-seeing spots, museums and restaurants. We followed her recommendations and enjoyed every minutes of the five days in Salvador. Lianana helped arranged taxi pickup at the airport. On the first day we arrived, we saw the wonderful sunset, had nice Bahia food (Moqueca, crabs, shellfish, etc.) and a nice sleep at her stylistic apartment. Then we enjoyed Pelourinho (the historic centre), the beaches, Bahia arts, many nice museums and restaurants in the following days. One of the exceptional experiences was the jazz concert held at the Modern Art Museum on Saturday night. Lianana recommended it and kindly went to the concert with us. What a cultural and musical treat! Of course, the trip ended with a nice taxi ride, again arranged by Liliana, to the airport. Thank you very much!

I´m a 55 years old single lady. I love meeting people all over the world.
One of the things I like is introducing people to the city I live (Salvador / Bahia).
People use to say that I´m very communicative.
I spent one year in London and 4 years on Canary Islands, that helps me to improve a bit the languages I can speak (English, Spanish and a very very little french).
Travelling, arts and photography can takes my breath away.
I´m straight but love having gay people around.
I have no prejudice of any kind.
