Description

The space

Petit Tresor is very centrally located in the pedestrian zone of the Medina , a 3 minute walk from the Djemaa el Fna , the main square of the old town in a quiet side street with no through traffic . The side street is just off the El Riad Zitoun Kdim .
Petit Tresor is a house completed 2012 with more than 250 square meters. It mixes our European residential feeling with Moroccan elements. A special element is the floor to ceiling windows to the atrium , the base of which forms a pool. It is a luxurious cottage for 2 , ideal for 4 and sufficient for 6-7 people.
Immediately at the entrance is the staircase from there are the two floors and the terrace accessible , with their various seats , sun loungers and a large pergola . From here you have views of the Koutoubia, the Atlas and the rooftops of Marrakech. First and second floor can be used as separate unit with shower / bath / WC.
Ground floor there is a small kitchen and a common room, which if required, can be easily transferred into the third sleeping room for 2 additional guests.
The house has Wi-Fi , and the bedrooms with air-conditioning (Hot/Cold ) . The large suite on the 2nd floor also has a large TV and an open fireplace.
The house was built and furnished by Adriano Pirani, owner of the Hotel du Tresor , (TripAdvisor Winner 2013). Petit Tresor cooperates with the hotel, when it comes to festivals, transports, trips or for more guests. Welcome to Marrakech!

Marc

This place is superb. Great location, in the medina, while easy to find. For people who love to walk around, you may go anywhere on foot. Within in 2 mins to the biggest and the most popular souk, 20-25 mins walk to Jadín Majorelle. Manager Mouaad is very nice and kind. He picked us up from Casablanca airport and took us to the house. It took us almost 2 hours to get through the custom line, but he made no complain and welcomed us warmly, even if we arrived late, he's still very patient to explain anything we might need during our stay. And late first night, the electricity went out, he asked a friend come to help us to solve the problem. Thanks, Mouaad. We are pretty sure if we come to Marrakech again, we will stay at your place again.

Absolutely perfect location if you want a quick access to the main square in Marrakesh, Souks, Culture, bars, cafes, restaurants and the crazy and amazing madness of Marrakech, which is what we lived and everything we hoped Marrakech would be. Mouad was amazing collected and dropped us at the airport (15 euros each way) and sat down with us for 45 mins going over maps and locations of places he thought we may like. His help and guidance made our trip better than it would have been and we cannot thank him enough. The restaurant Dar Essalam Is a must and is just a 5 min walk, if that, from the Riad, great food, amazing surroundings with authentic music, belly dancers and traditional morrocan entertainment, quite expensive and a little touristy but a must see! Thanks again, Nicky & Neil.

The Riad is centrally located in the heart of the Marrakesh medina. It's a short walk to lots of the attractions such as the square and the mosque. The Riad itself is very clean and nice. A big plus is that each of the bedroom has a private bathroom with shower. 4 of us stayed at the Riad, but there's enough space for a group of 7. Both Marc and the local host Mouaad are exceptional. As many others have commented already, Mouaad is the man. He drove us from the Casablanca airport to the Riad in Marrakesh, recommended GREAT restaurants that we all loved, and drove us back to Casablanca from Fes when we finished our desert trip. Mouaad has a great sense of humor and speaks very good English. I highly recommend staying at this Riad when visiting Marrakesh.

There is so many wonderful things to say about the Riad. It was absolutely perfect in every way. So clean and right next to everything. It was the perfect trip to one of the most amazing cities I have visited. Thank you Mouaad for everything you did for us, you are a true friend taking care of us in every way and ensuring we had what we needed. I wish we had spent more time in the city but I can say I know where I will be staying next time I come to town. Mouaad is the perfect host, thank you both Marc and Mouaad for allowing us to stay and visit. Mark

This Airbnb is perfect if you are looking to stay in the center of the action near Jemaa El-Fnaa. Both the Airbnb host Mouadd and Saida who made us breakfast each day were extremely attentive and responsive. Mouadd in particular helped bring us to and from the Casablanca airport, and set up an excursion to the Mezourga dunes we will never forget. It was many hours in the car but well worth it. My only criticism is that the area feels a bit seedy late at night, but what do you expect staying in the Times Square of Marrakech? 5 stars.

I have only amazing things to say about this airbnb. The riad itself was clean, spacious, accessible, and fantastically located within Marrakech and the Medina. Mouaad, the riad's manager, was incredible in every way. Our stay would not have been anywhere near as fun and productive as it was without all of his help and planning. My four friends and I visited from Barcelona and Mouaad really helped us make the most of the weekend. Not only did he pick us up from the airport and drive us right to the riad, he drove us all to the mountains one day. Once there, he signed us up for an incredible hike to see 5 beautiful waterfalls with breathtaking views. We had traditional mint tea at the top and once we returned to the bottom, - traditional Moroccan lunch! He was able to fufill our request to ride camels and we had so much fun! I would suggest this riad to anyone and everyone looking to experience Marrakech.
