Modern, bright house behind a traditional facade with a small pool for 2-7 guests in the medina, very close to the main square Jemaa El Fna, the square and its lively souks.

The space

Petit Tresor is very centrally located in the pedestrian zone of the Medina , a 3 minute walk from the Djemaa el Fna , the main square of the old town in a quiet side street with no through traffic . The side street is just off the El Riad Zitoun Kdim .
Petit Tresor is a house completed 2012 with more than 250 square meters. It mixes our European residential feeling with Moroccan elements. A special element is the floor to ceiling windows to the atrium , the base of which forms a pool. It is a luxurious cottage for 2 , ideal for 4 and sufficient for 6-7 people.
Immediately at the entrance is the staircase from there are the two floors and the terrace accessible , with their various seats , sun loungers and a large pergola . From here you have views of the Koutoubia, the Atlas and the rooftops of Marrakech. First and second floor can be used as separate unit with shower / bath / WC.
Ground floor there is a small kitchen and a common room, which if required, can be easily transferred into the third sleeping room for 2 additional guests.
The house has Wi-Fi , and the bedrooms with air-conditioning (Hot/Cold ) . The large suite on the 2nd floor also has a large TV and an open fireplace.
The house was built and furnished by Adriano Pirani, owner of the Hotel du Tresor , (TripAdvisor Winner 2013). Petit Tresor cooperates with the hotel, when it comes to festivals, transports, trips or for more guests. Welcome to Marrakech!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Marrakech and coming back from a hot dusty day of walking for hours, this riad was the perfect oasis with its air conditioning and private pool. We love this hidden gem of a home and didn't want to leave. We look forward to returning. It was just as described, the neighbors and nearby vendors were fantastic, the staff was attentive and helpful. We felt well taken care of by everyone and are grateful for the hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The riad is a great place in the Marrakech Medina. It's a short walk away from Jemaa el-Fnaa and the souks, 1 minute from Jemaa and 3 minutes from the souks. Although close to everything, the riad is still super quiet and in a residential area within the Medina. In a previous post someone wrote that the riad is in an area that felt "a bit seedy." This is the furthest from the truth. The Medina is pretty much made up of small alleyways and this riad's alley is far from "seedy." Our neighbors were all helpful and nice. The riad's manager, however, made our stay a 5 star experience. Mouáad was extremely helpful throughout our stay and was always available. He also drove us from Casablanca Airport and arranged our desert camping tour and visit to Essaouira. We can't write enough about how great Mouáad was, his management and helpfulness alone are reason enough to book this riad. The riad had plenty of room for the three of us and we all had our own bathroom. The rooftop terrace is a great plus as is the pool. It was especially nice to hit the pool after a hot day shopping in the souks. I'd definitely recommend this riad to a friend and as I wrote prior, Mouáad's helpfulness alone is reason enough to book it. Two thumbs up!! Thank you Marc and Mouáad!

The riad is so beautiful and exactly as described. Central to everything and perfect for my fam. Unfortunately, we hit a snag booking travel arrangements through the property manager that altered our experience on the trip which was rather dissapointing in the end. But overall he's a great guy and I would still recommend this riad!

This place is superb. Great location, in the medina, while easy to find. For people who love to walk around, you may go anywhere on foot. Within in 2 mins to the biggest and the most popular souk, 20-25 mins walk to Jadín Majorelle. Manager Mouaad is very nice and kind. He picked us up from Casablanca airport and took us to the house. It took us almost 2 hours to get through the custom line, but he made no complain and welcomed us warmly, even if we arrived late, he's still very patient to explain anything we might need during our stay. And late first night, the electricity went out, he asked a friend come to help us to solve the problem. Thanks, Mouaad. We are pretty sure if we come to Marrakech again, we will stay at your place again.

Absolutely perfect location if you want a quick access to the main square in Marrakesh, Souks, Culture, bars, cafes, restaurants and the crazy and amazing madness of Marrakech, which is what we lived and everything we hoped Marrakech would be. Mouad was amazing collected and dropped us at the airport (15 euros each way) and sat down with us for 45 mins going over maps and locations of places he thought we may like. His help and guidance made our trip better than it would have been and we cannot thank him enough. The restaurant Dar Essalam Is a must and is just a 5 min walk, if that, from the Riad, great food, amazing surroundings with authentic music, belly dancers and traditional morrocan entertainment, quite expensive and a little touristy but a must see! Thanks again, Nicky & Neil.
