This is a new single-family 4 bedroom house, sitting near the Pine Grove golf field, 3 miles from downtown Northampton.
With 5 colleges in the area, and over a dozen of coffee shops and bookstores in Northampton alone, the town has walk-able streets and lively spirit. There is an amazing variety of high-quality restaurants, and shops to experience. On warm days, there are musicians on the main street as well as an occasional performance. Seasonal Farmer's market runs on Saturdays.
Our home is 30min energetic walk or 10min biking or 4min car-ride distance from Northampton downtown. Northampton itself is well-connected with public bus routes in many directions.
No smoking in the house please. When using a shared common area (kitchen, living room, etc), please leave the place as clean as you found it.
We respectfully request that no street shoes are worn inside the house.
Olena and her family were wonderful hosts--welcoming, always responsive and ready to help--but never intrusive. The room was as clean and pretty as the Airbnb picture shows it to be, and the bed was very comfortable.
The house is set on a hill with a wonderful view! It was a great place for us to stay and we stayed a week.
What a treasure of a find! This is such a bright and happy room, and you wake up with a gorgeous view of woodland and nature open in front of you. Olenda and her daughter are lovely hosts and there was a selection of teas and coffees to greet me in the morning. The house is just a few minutes drive to Northampton and situated next to the open landscape - best of both worlds!
We were very welcomed by our host. This beautiful new house is next to a local golf course with the views as promised. The room was lovely.
Olena made us feel very welcome. She was there when we arrived and showed us around. Her home and our room was lovely. It was great to have our own private bathroom. There area was very nice - rural with trees around. It was a great place to do my morning walk. The location was quite convenient for us.
Olena couldn't have been a nicer host for our first airbnb experience. It was easy to communicate with her in advance regarding our arrival time, and we appreciate the use of her spotlessly clean kitchen for cooking dinner. The bedroom was exactly as described - cheery and comfortable - and the amenities were very thoughtful. The location couldn't have been better, easy to get to downtown Northampton, and the neighborhood is extremely quiet and peaceful. We were able to open the windows at night for fresh air, and were never disturbed by street noises.
Olena made it easy for us to come and go on our own schedule, and we never felt as if we were intruding. I would gladly return.
Olena was a wonderful host, very concerned about my comfort. The room is exactly as pictured. Bright, sunny and clean. The private bathroom was great also. What is not pictured are the plush towels, high quality toiletries, water left for me in the room and a super comfortable bed. It is definitely the bed Goldilocks would have chosen. I would definitely recommend Olena, and would be glad to return.
Olena's place was perfect! The bedroom was very private, with a beautiful private bath, which gave us lots of privacy. The house was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Olena was also a gracious host who made everything very easy. We would highly recommend.

About the Host, Olena
My family and I have been travelling a lot through Airbnb, and our experiences have been so positive (in comparison to hotel stays) that we decided to try becoming hosts ourselves.
We lived in the Boston area for over 4 years, then moved to Northampton in 2013. We will gladly help you out with suggestions and tips.
