A good spacious, quiet and clean large open plan 1 bedroom flat in a great area, close to food shops and up market shopping area. Also in easy walking distance from the Bay of Naples. Luigi gave us a warm welcome. My fiance and I enjoyed our stay and would return for certain.
Thanks for wonderful stay. Luigi is quick on his feet. If you send him a message he answers quickly. He lived in two regions where I also lived and speakes the languages of these countries. He is a busy man but we still had some time to exchange experiences and just talk a bit.
Ciao Luigi A unos de esos.
Luigi was a great host for us, patient and organised. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Naples, it's clean and nicely decorated.
nice apartment in a nice area of naples, with all the commodities.
i strongly raccomend it.
My partner and I found this apartment a perfect base for our week in Naples. It was clean and bright with attractive, comfortable decor and furnishings, and a well equipped kitchen which meant we could save a bit of money because we didn't have to eat out in restaurants for every meal. There were some small shops nearby where you could buy basic supplies and fruit and veg, and a little bit further away (about 10-15 mins on foot) there was a Carrefour Express supermarket (Via Andrea D'Isernia).
The apartment is in a lovely area. We felt completely safe walking around the area day and night, and it was within walking distance of the Riviera di Chiaia for beautiful sea views out towards Capri. We also enjoyed the 20-30minute stroll to the Centro Storico along the Via dei Mille and the Via Chiaia. The apartment has good public transport links. A bus stops directly opposite the front door and Amadeo metro and funicular station is just 10 minutes away.
Luigi was extremely welcoming and helpful when we arrived. He took the trouble to find out what we wanted to see and do while in Naples and explained the best ways to achieve all of our goals. He also gave us many recommendations from a local's perspective and we were never disappointed with the things we tried off the back of his suggestions.
Overall we had a wonderful experience and would heartily recommend both the apartment and the city.
We wanted to explore Napoli and found the apartment to be not too far out of the centre of town. We both enjoy walking and didn't find it a struggle to go out and about at night or to travel around the city on foot.
The apartment is lovely, spacious and clean. Luigi was good at communicating and ensuring that we were met, and understood the workings of the flat and the locality. So we really can't fault his place at all.
However we found Napoli to be sadly a city going to wrack and ruin. We knew of the piles of rubbish when the service workers are on strike but the lack of respect for civil property is astounding.
The eating experience is nevertheless wonderful. Pizza is truly something else in the city that invented it, and as for the ice-cream??? If we hadn't been walking we would have added pounds if not kilos to our waistlines.
Go with an open mind about the town, but be assured that Luigi's flat is a lovely safe haven.
Luigi's flat was great! We were a group of 5 close friends which made sharing the open layout of apartment a bit easier. While not within walking distance to the "downtown" area of Naples, we certainly felt very comfortable and safe at all hours of the day. A great choice for a small group or couple looking to enjoy the city.
We had a great stay, it was quiet far from the center but the flat was cleany and very nice. Luigi was very welcoming.
Luigi was a great host for us. We were late getting there due to delays at Napoli car rental but everything was fine and Luigi had everything organised. Good instructions for working the house and plenty of room for 2. Could fit four if required. We used the property as a base to visit Pompeii, Vesuvius and Sorrento which worked well with a car. Thanks Luigi!!!!!
A great place to stay for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids). Comfortable space, great location - we used it as a base for exploring Vesuvius/Ercolano, Pompeii & the historic part of Naples. We felt quite safe walking around this neighborhood with the kids at night. The best part of staying here was that Luigi sat down with us on the first day we arrived and walked us through a map of Naples, including every metro station and train transfer we needed - it was so easy to get around after that! Would not hesitate to recommend this place.
