My second time at Maria's was just as good as the first. Clean, comfortable accommodations, quiet neighborhood close to everything.
Everything worked out well for our weekend stay, and Maria was very helpful, she even sent me a text message with instructions for a late arrival. I can highly recommend this place, it is very nice and quiet indeed.
Really very good! We arrived quite late and left early, so the constrained "checkout" times were no problem - the flat was beautifully quiet, homely, and the bed very very comfortable; it had the comfort of a hotel, and yet being an office you didn't feel you were interfering in someone's very personal space. And also the area was lovely - a very elegant (and safe) area yet within walking distance of a variety of contrasting districts (which Maria was very helpful about). The whole experience made me keen to visit the city again soon!
The room is really nice - it is clean and comfortable.
Maria was very flexible about me coming in very late from the airport. The space was ultra-clean and accommodating, with a wonderful instruction book about both the space and the neighborhood. Private entrance. Suited my needs perfectly!
Maria's studio was my first Airbnb experience and will not be my last. Maria was a wonderful host, who was very responsive and always willing to help out. The studio was very cozy and very nice. I highly recommend this studio to any couple or individual who are traveling to San Francisco. You will be very pleased that you chose to stay at Maria's place.
Maria's place was great! My girlfriend and I were visiting SF and this was our first time using Airbnb. We could not have had a more pleasant experience than by staying with Maria. The room was clean, cozy, had everything we needed and was in a great area near Golden Gate Park and easy access to the rest of the city by bus. Maria was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing.
One reviewer mentioned not having curtains on the windows, but she is definitely paying attention because they're there now! If you're looking for a place to stay, you can't do better than this.
Maria came through at the last minute when another Airbnb cancelled on me two days before heading to San Fran. Area was great location - close to park and restaurants (Maria provided a great map with her suggestions and there was a even a book with menus in the unit!). Hideabed was very comfy compared to other hidebeds we've stayed on with relatives and altho lots of cars were able to find on street parking for rental car. Small fridge handy for storing sodas and snacks. Bath well setup and towels nice. Only downside would be inability to check in until 6pm on weekdays as this is office space during the week.
Maria and Jeff were very helpful and supportive! LOVE the room. Aesthetically verrry nice and very cozy. You can tell the accommodations are well thought out for a traveller - much like a hotel is- so it doesn't just feel like another room being rented out. Don't let the couch bed fool you! It's really comfy and large. Like it better than my one back home! Also there's a nice desk that is perfect for anyone who wants to get any work done over the weekend or at night. (Jeff uses it as his office during the day on weekdays .. so if you plan to work at home during the day this might not be the place for you).
Just steps away from the charming Haight-Ashbury neighborhood and Golden Gate Park! If you're new to the city and are looking for hustle and bustle I would suggest staying closer to the city. For anyone like me who is looking for a nice cozy stay slightly removed from the bustle of the city (about a half an hour away by transit) but with a great neighborhood and park to explore I cannot recommend it enough.
A lovely stay and so convenient. Maria had everything set-up for us and was so flexible about our arrival and departure.
