Tony has a wonderful home full of history and character. The room is huge with a little sitting area to chill in. It is an old building so comes with those charms but if you love all things vintage and artistic then you'll love this place. Tony and his family were very sweet and friendly. Great location not too far from a subway and stacks of cute diners and cafes nearby.
It was lovely to be in the heart of Chelsea. This was my first stay through AirBnB and the room was simple & cozy. I was a bit uncomfortable at first that the kitchen is so close to my bedroom and people are there but if I had more time, I would have loved to meet the interesting artistic people that get together. Thank you for making it easy to meet up with my friends in NYC (as I used to live here).
It was a great place to stay and to receive such a warm welcome in the middle of Manhattan. A house full of great spirits, very inspiring and I hope to return.

Tony and Lee Ann are incredibly kind and welcoming. The location is fantastic and the room is beautiful. Thumbs up.
Staying with Tony was like staying at the Chelsea Hotel: interesting people, artistic history, and a touch of bohemia. Tony accommodated our needs and worked to make our stay enjoyable.
Tony and LeAnn were great hosts. We felt very comfortable and safe in their charming home. The location is wonderful and quiet with a nice neighborhood feel.
My stay at Tony's was great. The room was pleasant and self contained which was great so I was able to eat in. The location was great being one street away from the subway and close to restaurants if you wanted to eat out. If you need I had a great stayed any additional infomationn Tony was more than pleased to help. Also the room was clean and airy. Overall I had a great stay
The room is in a traditional brown-stone house. Our stay lived up to our expectations. We wanted to have an experience as close as to real New York as we could. In other words not in a plastic hotel 20 floors up. Tony and Lee Ann were excellent hosts - enthusiastic, busy, friendly, considerate New Yorkers. The room is on the first floor, large, has some cooking facilities, a good bathroom, and a comfortable bed. The decor is traditional and not pristine, but no worries. We loved be being woken by a hen clucking in the garden!. The locality is calm, full of trees, and comprises lots of other brown-stones. .

Staying in Tony's place was unlike any other experience I've had in New York. I have done my share of tiny, loud and icky Times Square hotels for twice what I paid here.
Even though my time in NYC was over scheduled, it was a delight to return to Tony's place. Waking up as the light came in the bay window felt like I was somewhere much smaller than this big ol' city. Yet when I walked out the door, I was a block and a half from the Subway. And a half block from the great stuff on 9th.
I highly recommend this place and can't wait to return myself.
Tony and Lee Ann were gracious hosts and we really enjoyed our stay. If you're lucky, you'll show up when they're hosting a film-viewing or poetry-reading, and, like us, get invited to participate. We'll certainly make a return visit!
