A total of 5 of us stayed in Ferris's apartment for almost 2 weeks and had an awesome time. As we are cooked a lot back home, we needed a place that has a kitchen and this apartment has it. What you see in her listings and photos are exactly what you would expect! It's a cozy nice apartment, bigger than most NYC apartments as I stayed in some before. The heater works, great to keep warm, the hot water and toilet in the apartment is kept well. Getting around is not difficult, the wifi is strong, the neighbourhood is safe and you have nothing to worry about.
Small tip: if you need to grab Macdonald's at night, head to the 24 hours outlet that is opposite Staples/CVS, not the one that is next to the starbucks. My husband and friend did not get their orders right with the Mcd next to starbucks :( This did not stop us from enjoying new york or Ferris's apartment!!!
Thank you so much!
Ferris was fantastic - and the place is beautiful. Wish I could have stayed longer!
Ferris was a great host and very nice. She answered quickly on my mails and SMS and gave good advice how to come best directly from JFK (A line). She was very flexible in terms of coming (9pm) and leaving (4pm).
The apt is huge and cosy, I felt immediately home and slept excellent.
This apartment was the best thing about my stay in NYC! Unfortunately I came during the polar vortex.
The apartment was clean, and looked better than the pictures. The apartment is also just 3/4 very short blocks away from the subway with many stores, bars and restaurants very close by.
I felt safe at all times, even when coming home very late at night or early in the morning.
The apartment is very good at canceling noise as we were quite loud and always had music playing but nothing could be herd from outside.
Ferris was an excellent host, she greeted my friends and even gave us extra blankets when the snow storm had started.
The apartment also has a garden which I would have loved to enjoy only if it was summer, but I will defo be coming back to experience a summer in Harlem.
No complaints at all!
