A comfortable and modern hospitable apartment, located right next to Victoria Square (Opera Square), Timisoara.
Penthouse type, top floor, with an open plan, an apartment with a beautiful balcony, large windows and lots of natural light. Central, but quiet and comfortable. The facilities are carefully chosen for a week-long stay.

The space
It's a modern apartment with lots of natural light. The dedicated workspace is in the bedroom, where in front of the windows you will find a wide desk with an ergonomic office chair and a wireless charger.
You will sleep in a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed (160x200cm) with a memory foam mattress (which many guests have praised), a soft duvet and a variety of pillows to choose from. Some of the pillows in the pictures are decorative, but there are 2 extra, firmer pillows. The bedroom has thick curtains for a dark sleeping environment and also two mirrors for admiring moments.
Under the large mirror there is a yoga mat for your daily morning refreshment.
In the bedroom of the apartment you will find a medium-sized closet with hangers and a dresser where you can unpack your luggage. There is an ironing board and an iron in the bedroom (you can find them right in the closet).
The large bathroom is a great advantage for an apartment in Timisoara and comes with a huge toilet mirror with ambient light that you must see. Under the mirror there is a large sink, on a long countertop and the washing machine. A deep tub occupies the other side of the bathroom. You will also find extra towels, a hairdryer and essential personal care items (shower gel, shampoo, soap) if you forgot to bring your own from home.
The kitchen is very well equipped and practical. It has an induction hob for quick cooking, an electric oven with precise temperature control, a dishwasher, a compact fridge-freezer, a complete set of dishes and cutlery. The kitchen island is movable, being equipped with wheels.
You can find glasses of all shapes and sizes in a cabinet above the dishwasher: crystal wine glasses (yes, and prosecco), coffee mugs and water glasses.
In the kitchen, there is an espresso machine that works with several types of coffee capsules: Nespresso, Dolce Gusto and Tchibo. There are also small espresso cups. There are a few free coffee capsules on a shelf, but you can ask for extra coffee as an extra service. Ness coffee, coffee milk, but also an Italian moka kettle are also available.
The living room welcomes you with a table of four with comfortable chairs. The table is made of glass, so the request is to use the protective films provided - they are above the collection of board games in the living room.
In front of the sofa in the living room you will find a large HD digital cable TV and a Netflix guest account set up, but also a stationary bike on the other side of the space, if you prefer a more active lifestyle.
The sofa in the living room extends to a comfortable double bed of 140x200 that can accommodate two people, making the apartment perfect for four people and a perfect starting point to explore the central markets of the city.
There is a balcony where you can take a breath of fresh air, have a private conversation, or maybe enjoy a cigarette outside. The balcony is connected to the living room and has a clothes dryer, for that fresh smell of air-dried clothes.
The building has an integrated heating system, so you can expect an indoor temperature of about 21-22° Celsius in winter, but you have access to air conditioning to adjust the temperature and humidity to your liking.
Ah... and you can find a lot of natural plants in the apartment. The Dracaena near the bedroom is, for example, over 15 years old.
Notes: I do not recommend sleeping with the windows open for people with sound sensitivity. The Metropolitan Cathedral is extremely close and bells will be heard in the morning with the window open. Municipal teams clean the street daily around midnight, and sanitation teams pick up the garbage twice a week around 4 a.m.
Guest access
The building has an intercom that uses an access card as well as an elevator. There are no stairs unless you want to do cardio up to the 7th floor.
The entrance to the building and the elevator are quite old, but in perfect working order.
Street parking next to the building free on weekends and after 8:00 p.m. During the week, paid street parking is available throughout Timisoara via the TPARK app or via SMS. There are also two private parking lots nearby.
Other things to note
For a pleasant stay:
- No smoking inside (balcony available in Opera Sunrise)
- Don't have parties or loud gatherings
- Quiet after 10:00 p.m. - the building is residential and the neighbors appreciate the quiet
