The space
THE APARTMENT
The apartment consists of a kitchen, two bedrooms, a living room (with a single bed for a fifth person possibly) and a bathroom can accommodate you for à la carte stays in complete privacy:

Ideal for a family, or two couples, independent with its two bedrooms, living room, bathroom with walk-in shower (via the large bedroom, you have to go through the bedroom to go to the bathroom), the kitchen will allow you to enjoy the finds of the local Uzetian market for lunch or dinner on the private terrace or garden. A swing and sunbeds are available.

The unique decoration of each offers authenticity and modernity with great attention to detail. They have a wide openness to nature.

Short history of Castelnau Castle
Etienne Boileau, provost of Paris and author of the Livres des Métiers, accompanied King Saint Louis during the Crusades of the 12th century. Her statue is on the Hôtel de Ville de Paris.
His descendants, ennobled by Charles V in 1371 took possession of the Vicomte de Saint Felix of Castelnau Castle in 1500.
Since that time, it still belongs to the same family whose members have held high positions.
The revocation of the Edict of Nantes results in the departure of almost the entire family abroad, with the exception of Maurice Boileau de Castelnau who retains property and titles.
During the period of camisards, the castle served as a refuge for Pierre Laporte, known as Rolland, leader of the Huguenots.
His death sounded the end of the religious wars. A stele commemorates his death.
The family of Valfons had as its chef the Vicomte de Sebourg created Marquis de Valfons de la Calmette by Louis XV after the Battle of Fontenoy.
In 1836, Valfons' family took possession of the castle by the marriage of Gabrielle Boileau de Castelnau with the Marquis of Valfons.
Their descendants still own the Castle, still in the same family for 524 years who have been working to share this historical heritage.

The lack of WIFI will allow you to "disconnect" for a few days. A connection via 4G remains possible with a mobile phone.

You have to go through the large bedroom to get to the bathroom.
