We were looking for a quaint and quiet place to stay after a busy day, and that is exactly what we found in the small cabin. The inside was cozy, unique, and clean. We have a small son who loved the basket of children toys and books. The area was beautiful and close to downtown Fairhaven.
The cottage is a wonderful place to stay in Bellingham. It is as charming as the pictures show, but what the pictures don't convey are all the personal touches of the hosts. Part of the reason we like to stay in vacation rentals are these unique qualities, preferring to avoid the anonymity of hotels. Todd and Carrie are both welcoming, friendly, and interesting to talk with. They respect guests desire to connect, or not. Accessing the main house is easy and comfortable. We would love to stay here again!
We loved our stay at Todd and Carrie's cottage! It's within good walking distance from Fairhaven, and the neighborhood is peaceful and nice. Although the cottage is little, it really is quite roomy, and fit us perfectly! Todd and Carrie went out of their way to make us comfortable, and we appreciate their wonderful service! We will definitely be staying there if we are in Fairhaven again!
We are a family of four and stayed in the cottage for one night. We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and cozy. Small details like a pitcher of water and glasses made us feel welcome.
Todd was a kind and accommodating host for our brief stay. This is a great location for getting to and from Lake Padden (we did the Triathlon). Plus it was an easy walk to Fairhaven and a quiet place to rest up before the race.
Had an awesome time! The family was super nice! We weren't there long but felt very welcome for the short period of time we were at the cottage. This was our first Airbnb experience and we were really nervous - glad we chose the cottage for our first adventure! We were a little concerned about no air conditioning being in the south at first, but we opened the windows and doors and slept very comfortable, since it was a cool and safe area!
A great place to stay. Walking distance to great food and a fun downtown. We'd stay here again for sure, hopefully soon! A really quiet and cozy gem.
