You can be assured of a warm Irish welcome!
A truly Irish home with a loving family who really love where they live.
We have 1 bedroom available with its own bathroom, full wifi is available also.
Interaction with Guests
We would love our guests to live with us in our home and see how an Irish family really lives!
We live in the heart of the village where guests can walk to pubs, parks and lovely rambles in the country!
We are located 2 minutes from the Dublin to Cork motorway (Junction 14), Dublin is 2 hours away while Cork is 25 minutes.
There is a regular bus service to Fermoy town, only 10 minutes away from Kilworth.
Other Things to Note
We can provide evening supper or pack lunches for guests if required at an additional charge.
As always we were welcomed and made to feel totally at home from the start. We enjoyed interacting with the Kieran's lovely family. The room is homey, clean and tidy. This is one of our favorite listings and we make every excuse to return. It is the perfect stop over location if traveling from Waterford across to Killarney! We drove down from Dublin and visited Historic sites en-route. It is close to so many things that a traveler has choices.
We were welcomed with a cup of coffee and snacks along with some wonderful conversation. Kieran and his family are extremely friendly and warm. We felt right at home after a very long day. The room was meticulous, exceptionally clean and comfortable. They made every effort to see that our stay was truly memorable. Highly recommended.
Kieran and his family are such nice people and we had a great time at his home. It is a cosy beautiful little house and when you come in you feel like home. It was one of the best family's we visit when we go around Ireland. We loved to stay and if we had more time we want to stay longer . I would like to say thank you to Kieran and his family it was really nice to meet them :-)
Extremely cosy house and garden (so much flowers, light, ...), with a very family!
We were delighted to stay there, to chat with everyone, to get the good advices to visit Cork, and we had the chance to have dinner under the sun, on the terrace, it was delicious!
We highly recommend a stay in Kilworth (at Kieran Quinn's house!).
And I won't forget to amire Kieran's soda bread, which was really amazing!
nice peoples, nice house, nice dinner and breakfast, nice room and nice bathroom! What else would you want!
This a very warm and welcoming home! The room is bring and airy and warm, the private bathroom is right next door and the small details are what makes this a great place to overnight - or stay and use a base. To be highly recommended- enjoy!
Kieran and His family were lovely hosts and made us very welcome.
The village of Kilworth has 5 pubs or bars but none do food, one snack/fast food outlet opposite, adequate , not good. Restaurants 10 minutes away in Fermoy. Kieran happy to have guest join evening meal on occasion. Genuine Irish hospitality.
Kieran and his wife were absolutely lovely people, and their home was cozy, ultra quaint and pretty, and very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. Kilworth is a very quiet little area, with great proximity to Cork and many other very good day trips ... recommended!!
