Skip the roadside motel and stay with us at our cool and classic Craftsman style bungalow in Central El Paso. Built in the 1910's, this home is thoroughly updated. Easy access to transit, I-10, US 54, UTEP, Medical Center of the Americas, Fort Bliss, and Ciudad Juárez.
Recently renovated, our guest room is comfortable, cozy, and characteristic of early 20th century construction. Featuring a full bed, this space comfortably sleeps two people.
Guests have access to all common areas including satellite TV, WiFi, kitchen, front porch, and laundry room. Your own full bathroom is just a few steps down the hall.
El Paso is the coolest city you've probably never visited. We'd love to share a glass of wine or a cup of coffee as we help you plan an itinerary which allows you to take full advantage of all the Sun City has to offer. From hiking to museums to parks to Mexican food, it's all a stone's throw from our neighborhood. If you're just passing through town, we'd still be thrilled to offer you good conversation and a welcoming place to stay. Hablamos español.
Government Hill is the real deal. Built in the 1910s for top brass at Fort Bliss, our neighborhood is diverse, lively, and historic – but certainly not stodgy. The ice cream truck still rolls through the neighborhood on weekends and don't be surprised if you hear ranchero music or cumbias ringing out as neighbors wash their car or tinker under the hood.
SunMetro Route 30 offers direct access to Fort Bliss or the up-and-coming Five Points area. In Five Points, you can also transfer to lines provided direct service to Downtown, El Paso International Airport, and the Medical Center of the Americas.
We have three well-behaved dogs – two small dogs and one large one). Let us know if you prefer they be kenneled during your stay.
I spent two recent nights at Jonathan and Martin's great little house in El Paso. I did not get a chance to meet Martin as he was out of town but Jonathan was a great host. He was very communicative and always willing to field any calls or texts during my stay. The near century old home is beautiful and the accommodations are outstanding, clean and these two have thought of everything - from an iPad to extra toothbrush for those who forget from time to time. The bed is very comfortable. The home is in a very nice and older neighborhood that has a great deal of charm and style. Their commitment to El Paso and knowledge of the city will make any stay a memorable one. I highly recommend Jonathan as a host and their beautiful home.
Jonathan and Martin were hosts par excellence! I quickly felt like I's known them for ages. In my brief overnight stay, we managed to pack in a whirlwind sightseeing drive, drinks and dinner.
I immediately felt at home in their place and had one of the best night's sleep of my road trip. The accommodations were very well-appointed; extremely, clean, comfortable and relaxing.
It was worth me canceling my hotel reservation and staying with them. I would not have had quite the same experience. This was my first Airbnb stay and I'm delighted I chose them. I will recommend them highly and without reservations.
Thanks, Jonathan and Martin!
Jonathan is a natural born Host!! Absolutly supportiv for any needs you may have, and gives you privacy at the same time! The dogs are adorable (bring salad, the big one loves salad :-)) These Guys love to cook, I had interesting chats about cooking and food. I enjoyed every minute and I definetly coming back next year.
My first experience using AirBNB, and it was awesome. The area is conveniently located for anyone traveling through the city. I unfortunately had to pass out as soon as I arrived post a 21+ hour drive, but it felt great to relax in such a cozy place. The dogs were super friendly, and the place was spotless. Highly recommend.
Jonathan & Martin are wonderful hosts, with an incredibly clean & inviting space. Even though the area seemed very safe, Jonathan gave us his spot in the driveway so our car (packed for a cross-country move) would be even more secure. I would stay here anytime I return to El Paso.
Jonathan and Martin provided an exceptional stay. I was flying in from Dallas to see El Paso and meet a recruiter for a job, so this was a brief stay. They have a beautiful home and their dogs are adorable! Their home is in a nice neighborhood and close to the center of town. Charlie, Sipsey and London were great fun to have around as well. I'm really happy to have met such generous folks here and to call them friends now.
I would highly recommend anyone coming through El Paso to stay with Jonathan and Martin.
We enjoyed our one night stay after a long drive from San Antonio with a stop at Carlsbad Caverns. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and attractive and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom right next door was large and the shower worked well. We appreciated the basket of little items one might have forgotten to pack and some info about the area left in the room. There was also an ipad for guest use. WI FI worked well. In the morning a tray with a carafe of coffee and mugs was left out for us, which was very thoughtful. On our way out of the city we stopped at the recommended bakery, Gussie's, and enjoyed some delicious pastries. Thanks for a pleasant stay!
Our stay with Jonathan and Martin was only our third AirBnB. All have been very good, but our time here the best. Nice room, and bath basically to ourselves, was certainly a plus, as was good internet access. Jonathan was very considerate, even down to labeling the kitchen cabinets with stickies so we'd know where to find things to cook our dinner. We had some nice conversations also. The dogs were not a problem though sometimes barky. We would certainly recommend this stay.
Stopped by Jonathan's place for a quick night it had all the things I was looking for: nice hosts ( Jonathan and Martin, plus their dog Charlie were very gracious, welcoming and friendly. Jonathan gave me a great dinner recommendation), conveniently located ( easy access to all major highways), comfortable room ( tastefully decorated-the pics do not do the room justice), and highly affordable ( unbeatable at this price). Overall had a great time there. Highly recommend.
Temporarily relocating to El Paso for a few months and couldn't have asked for a more welcoming first week experience. I arrived to a comfortable bed, warm inviting room with fresh flowers, cozy newly remodeled home along with a gracious host and household. Johnathan even helped me find a more permanent living situation here in town. It will be hard to top this airbnb stay.
