Where you’ll be

Kayenta, Arizona, United States

The nearest conveniences are in Gouldings, about 6 miles around the bend. You can find the Stagecoach Restaurant at Gouldings Lodge. There is a Gas Station/Deli, Grocery Store with ATM, Laundromat, & a Car wash below the lodge.
Good Sam Campground is another mile further in the canyon. It has public showers. The Post Office is nearby as well.
You can find a Medical & Dental Clinics off highway 163, near the intersection & AZ stateline. They take private insurances (USA) & can treat foreign travelers.
Monument Valley Park Visitor Center, The View Restaurant/Hotel are about 8 miles across the way from our location. About 10 minutes drive.
Our immediate Neighbors are quite sparse, therefore privacy is not a problem. You will randomly see grazing sheep, cows, & horses in the area as Navajoland has open grazing.

Hello! Welcome to my bnb site! My name is Rosalyn, and I am a Navajo woman native to Monument Valley. I have four children and have been married for 24 years. I am very excited to have you as my guest (s)! I am living my dream of being your host as a small business owner. I speak my native language and have worked under the Navajo Nation Park for 5 years and my husband for over 15 years. I take pride in our Navajo land, language, traditions, and food. I am excited to share a frybread with you for breakfast with Navajo tea. We would be honored to host your visit while in Monument Valley, considered the 8th Wonder of the World! My travel experience is limited, but I'm anxious for you to share yours! Learning is a lifelong experience.
