Kitchen open on the living room with: micro wave, cook tops, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, teapot, washing machine and all you might need for cooking. A dining counter with two bar chairs.
Sleeping area: separated from the living room by a heavy curtain (very romantic) with a bed for two adults (140 X 200cm) two cupboards and a dressing. One window on an inside courtyard.
Bathroom with large Italian shower, bath sink and loo in a modern style and hair dryer. Iron and its table.
The place is rented with clean and fresh towels and linen.
AREA : "Arts et metiers" metro station is in front of the building (line 3 and 11) and others stations few meters from the building (Reaumur Sebastopol/ Chatelet les halles)...access to all Paris!
Also many bus lines if you prefer or Velib station (bike rental) right next to the building.
The Louvre, la Seine, Hotel de ville, Notre Dame de Paris, Pompidou, Modern Art Museum are all within easy walking distance of the apart.
Chatelet-Les Halles is very close to the apart (5 min walk), it's the biggest hub for subway/RER (express subway) lines in Paris so the apart is VERY accessible and convenient (you can go directly from there to Disney Land Paris or Versailles castle for example)
The area is one of the best of Paris... and authentic!!! coffees and restaurants next to the building (also groceries, drugstore, bakery/very good boulangeries..) Beautiful and quiet area.
Respect the apart and be quite clean (everything is quite new inside and full equipped).
The check in is not before 15h (3pm) and check out not after 11h (11am). Ask me for exception and i will tell you if its possible to accommodate it with your arrival and departure (i usually do it when i can ;))
Enjoy your stay and do not hesitate to ask me if you need something (even about the area, visits, museum, shopping, gym, swimming pool.. all that you need)
My boyfriend and I had a lovely time in Paris in this apartment which was ideally situated (close to key tourist points whilst being out of the 'hustle bustle) with everything you needed close by (bakery cafe supermarket). I feel like the bathroom could be revamped slightly, however the rest of the flat was decorated very tastefully and the bed area was so cute and cosy.
The house is well located. it was easier to find. it has the metro station right in front of it.
The appartment is really small, specially the toillet. Due to a miss understanding there was not enought towels, but David was ready to help us sort that out.
There are loads of stairs until you reach the apartment which might be dificult to do if you're carrying heavy luggage.
David was really helpful and allow us to do the check in earlier.
The apartment: What you see is what you get. The flat is cozy and has a beautiful view from 4th floor. It is placed right next to the metro and it only takes 10 min. to walk to Notre Dame and Seinen by foot.
The Host: David informed us very well about how to find the place, get the keys and everything. It was simple and well-described.
We would definitely book this place again, when visiting Paris!
Great location! Very conveniently located across from metro, supermarket, restaurants, and bakery! Up 5 level of stairs in the dark is a bit challenging, and the bathroom is very small, but over all the place is nice!
Beautiful outlook into Paris city from the large apartment windows. The sunlight filled the place and was a great spot to relax after a big day exploring the sights. The couch is very comfy.
Very close to the metro, easy access to the airport & key sights. We loved the patisserie across the road.
A point for future stayers, the hike up those 5 floors to the apartment is hefty, but worth the view. If you're not very fit consider this wisely as it might take some enjoyment from your stay. My husband had some trouble with the tiny bathroom, he's 6'4'', he couldn't close the door If sitting. He also was too long for the bed but no worries as the bed doesn't have a end so it was still quite good.
The apartment is renovated and is nice. Some renovations are not finished like some power points and lights, blinds are a little broken but still functional.
Overall great location and David was super quick to respond and very helpful.
Apartment is located in a really great neighborhood with beautiful views. Across the street from the Metro stop with grocery stores and restaurants nearby.
However, you should know the apartment is located on a 5 FLOOR WALK UP (spiral stairs) before you book. This is fit for a couple but not for 3 people. One will have to sleep on the couch (NOT A REAL BED). The bathroom is extremely small (hard to tell from the photos) and the water pressure is nonexistent.
The washer was broken but the host was not aware. Unfortunately for us, this meant we were unable to do laundry when we needed to and was depending on it when we were staying in Paris.
David was very accommodating with our late check out and helpful with directions from the airport. It was also easy to communicate with him during our stay.
Great location for exploring the city with plenty of neighbour facilities. Apartment is comfortable and airy, though be ready for quite a climb up to the 4th floor. But worth it to stay in an authentic Parisian property. David was responsive and genuinely concerned to ensure we enjoyed our stay.
