Great check-in experience90% of recent guests gave this home’s check-in process a 5-star rating.

Pepper Tree cottage was built during the late 1880's as a worker's cottage, as part of a larger farm in the area. It is now a National Monument. It is a cosy, intimate space featuring original 19th century clay walls, wood ceiling, thatched roof and a traditional open fireplace with a small Queen Ann wood stove. It has a queen-sized bed with brushed cotton bedding for comfort and an en-suite bathroom. The fully equipped kitchenette opens out onto a patio where you can enjoy the outside shower.

Had a very relaxing weekend at the cottage. Some amazing hiking/running trails in nearby nature reserves. Note: if you want to use the charcoal stove then make sure you bring firestarters to get it burning.
