Description

The Space

There is only one main room (plus the hall, kitchen and bathroom), which is nicely proportioned and has a great feeling of light and space. The open fire is lovely in the evenings.

The guests will have their own hall door access to the apartment. The front garden which is quite private and very pleasant in the summer has an area just for the apartment but which is open to the rest of the front garden.

We say hello, show the place and make sure the guests are comfortable. We live above the apartment and are available if needed, but generally the guests and hosts keep to themselves.

Walk on Dun Laoghaire Pier
Go for a swim in The Forty Foot - 20 minutes on foot.
Every Sunday there is a farmers' market in the "People's Park" just down the road.
Cinema, supermarkets, library, theatre, restaurants and pubs are all within walking distance.


The nearest DART station is Sandycove Glasthule - five minutes brisk walk and the number 7 bus at the bottom of the road goes into town.
The Aircoach has stops in Dun Laoghaire and Glasthule. Visitors parking permits are available (from the hosts) at €2 per day, please advise in advance if needed.

There is usually one double bed in the apartment, but given notice we can provide an additional small single bed.
