  • We re not out of the apartment yet, but we truly had a great time here.
Thank you so much Gina for the time in the big flat, we are having the best time here :)
Really good location, just next to the Manhattan bridge (close to the big Buddhist temple), with a Subway at 5 minutes !
A good idea for big groups like us (11)

  • Gina was incredibly hospitable and a great host to work with! She was very accommodating, responsive, and friendly. Although out of town during our stay, she helped us out all weekend and was even kind enough to recommend her favorite food spots in the area (delicious!). The apartment was gorgeous and a steal at that price. Located right in the heart of Chinatown, it's easily accessible from the metro. We will absolutely be contacting her next time we are in the area and strongly recommend that you do too.

  • I have mixed feelings about writing such a warm review because it will make harder reserve the apartment next time. It was truly the perfect apartment for our team. I have never stayed in that area before and found it to be a fonominal location. The apartment was super clean and fully stocked. I was sorry that I didn't get a chance to cook and entertain. Next time.

    Thanks Gina.

  • Thank you Gina! The place was awesome and central to most things we needed to get to. Essential considering the weather was miserable. We appreciate your hospitality and we'll definitely be looking at properties you host for future NYC trips.

  • The place was just as the pictures showed. No funny business. GIna was also accessible and friendly.

  • We had a fabulous time! Gina's loft was beautiful and spacious! The beds were comfortable and Gina was very accommodating. It was so convenient to have a Dunkin Donuts right below the loft for a quick breakfast each morning.

  • Amazing apartment! We had a planes trains and automobiles experience getting there because of the snow. I called Gina to let her know we were stranded and she got online to try and find us train tickets into the city from Albany!! So kind! There were 7 of us and everything was great! Awesome hot showers! Dunkin donuts done stairs is a plus! This is a 1 floor walk up with so much character! Perfect spot in china town btwn 2 subway stations. Little Italy just a short walk away as well. I wish I had put info the book about places to see and eat at. My only suggestions which I forgot to tell her would be heavier blankets for the living room area beds. The girls would turn up the heat and cook those of us in the pods. Lol. Mind you- it was 8 degrees outside! So bring layers to sleep in if you're cold natured. The huge windows make it cool but provide an amazing view! And if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs- it's NYC people! The pods are perfect. Enough space to escape to. Gina was a fabulous host! The apartment is immaculate. Can't beat the location and culture! I'm returning in the summer and may rent with Gina again for 2 of us. I can't say enough about her kindness as willingness to help us. This is a lovely apartment of you're lucky enough to stay here. You won't be disappointed!

    Response from Gina:

Thank you Amy. I am glad you made it safely during that intense snow storm! My apologies about the windows... They are actually double glazed and typically block all incoming drafts and sound. Recently Dunking Donut's flag just smashed a couple windows...(we are working on getting them replaced). I will be sure to bring extra blankets for future guests. Thank you for choosing to stay at my place. It was a pleasure being your host~

  • We had a terrific time in this beautiful loft. It fit 11 of us--two parents, five grown children, and two girlfriends--with comfort and ease. The living room had plenty of space for all of us, the kitchen was cool and well-equipped, the bathrooms nicely appointed with excellent soft towels, and the bedrooms had fantastic mattresses. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the location was perfect. Thanks so much, Gina, for the best weekend.

  • Thank you to Gina for allowing our family to stay in the Loft. We had an amazing time. So close to many good restaurants, lots of shopping opportunities and only a few minutes walk from the subway. We felt like we had a real 'New York' experience unlike you would have staying in a hotel. The lounge/dining area was used a lot for our family chats, planning meetings, meals shared together, etc. I would recommend Gina's place to anyone with a large group or family, like ours. We wouldn't hesitate to go back if we ever have opportunity to come to New York again.
Thank you Gina for calling in on us - it was lovely to meet you. You made everything so easy for us and your communication before and during our stay was very much appreciated.

I am a visual artist, actor, singer, dancer, student of music and life. Can't get enough of cabaret, jazz, good vibrations, champagne cocktails, chocolate chip pancakes with ice cream, my dogs, nature, and traveling. I'm obsessed with finding the perfect home, literally! Every apartment is an actual home, one that I probably have lived in. (This is why they are filled with details many forget.) You're home is where your heart is....My heart keeps wondering around and dreaming of fun possibilities. Therefore, I have many homes! Sometimes, I even design and build them (This all started from being a broke actor and visual artist)! Always a dreamer! I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and sharing my knowledge of the city. Ask away~ PLEASE, take the time to show you are genuinely interested by reading the listing and sharing yourself with me (fill in your profile with a picture at least). Then, you will receive a response. :) Keep in mind, this is New York City and many people want to visit. Therefore, many, many, many silly messages keep popping up in the inbox. Most of the questions you have are already answered on the listing, trust me! Availability: Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm (intermittently) & sometimes otherwise. ginashousenyc~
