This large house on 7+ acres was originally a summer hotel. Now a home --with used book/LP business on weekends. For more information- check out" Little Red Book Shack". Located in Livingston, we are just a few minutes south of Hudson, home to dozens of galleries and antique shops. And we are just north of Red Hook and Rhinebeck. Though we are conveniently located on a thru road---State Route 9- we have a green country setting. NOTE: I have cats- do not reserve if you are allergic.l

The space
We offer 2 bedrooms for 1 or 2 people traveling together, share one king bedroom or spread out into second room with double bed. -- with cable TV including HBO, and wifi -- one flight up from the entrance, and a roomy bathroom with tub and shower. The bathroom is on the hall but YOU NEVER SHARE THE BATHROOM - OR KITCHEN WITH STRANGERS.--- The upper hall is PRIVATE, separate from owner. ----- Also available to guests is a kitchenette, with fridge, microwave , Keuric coffee maker and toaster, and coffee and tea supplies, breakfast food and snack foods including healthy fresh fruit and yogurt- and splurge snacks... Host will always supply breakfast and snack foods, from which guests prepare their own breakfast. Supplies will include bread for toast, fruit, cereal, cheese, jelly, peanut butter and yogurt and juice -- along with sodas and snacks.

Guests can park anywhere out front, and can easily come and go at will. The two rooms plus kitchenette and bathroom and private hall total approximately 550 square feet of space- very roomy. Sorry, accommodation is not suitable for children or events or parties, and not wheelchair accessible.
