The Martin House offers 6 bedrooms across 6,000+ sq. ft., set on 300+ acres of rolling hills just 20 minutes from Nashville Airport. A tree-lined drive leads to peaceful seclusion, expansive views, and refined comfort. Ideal for family reunions, intimate weddings, retreats, and restorative escapes designed to reconnect and recharge.

After an exciting evening in downtown Nashville, there’s nothing quite like waking up to the true peace and quiet of farm life to help you completely unwind and remember what matters most. Enjoy your coffee surrounded by the beauty of the Tennessee countryside—birds singing, deer and wild turkeys roaming, and fresh country breezes gently lifting the stress from your shoulders.

Everyone has a “theme” when creating a unique and elegant Airbnb experience, and ours is Serenity. We want friends and family to have an escape from their busy lives—a place to reset, clear their minds, and put the “create” back in recreation. If we accomplish that, we have done our job well.

Summer brings long, golden days perfect for gathering outdoors, enjoying the pool, and watching the sun set over rolling green hills. Evenings are made for laughter on the patio, warm breezes, and quiet moments under the stars.

Every autumn is ablaze with color as maple trees surrounding the home turn brilliant shades of red and gold. It’s like stepping into an early 19th-century painting. A long grove of over 40 trees brightens the drive, while the crisp air invites slow morning walks—perhaps with a good friend or simply alone with God’s creation.

Winter transforms the estate into a quiet, reflective retreat. The landscape softens into stillness, mornings feel slower, and the home becomes a warm, inviting haven—perfect for cozy gatherings, deep conversations, and peaceful rest. Take a load off, recharge, and settle into a season of true calm.

Guest access
All of the main house is yours to enjoy. Ask about additional space available for extra guests. We've just added an additional game room and comfortable sleeping arrangements that can be made available/rentable for larger groups.

Or, ask about our additional home on property which is just a short walk away called Birdsong Barn, with 3 bedrooms that sleeps 10.

Rule #1: This is your time to relax and enjoy your family and friends in the serene green of Tennessee.

As a family, we have enjoyed several AirBnB sites for week-long stays all over the country. The thrill of “living” in a nice home, in a popular environment, was always a joy. Memories were made that will never fade, and bringing our family together became a priority for many years. This is our hope for those who stay at our home. Fond memories, planned togetherness, and growing relationships are what we have gained in our family visits to other Vacation homes, and these are our hopes and vision for our guests.

Follow the airport exit signs North to I-40.
Take the I-40 East (Knoxville) entrance ramp to the Right.
Drive approximately 21 miles to Exit 238 for Lebanon. (Hwy 231)

From I-40: Going South from I-40 (Exit 238) on Hwy. 231
1) Go 1 mile South to Stumpy Ln. and take a left
2) Take Stumpy Ln. to the CoPart sign.
3) At this point, the road merges to the Right with SE Tater Peeler Rd.
4) Drive another 1.8 miles and Tater Peeler turns to the Right.
(going straight leaves you on Shorter Rd.—don’t want to go there)
5) Drive .7 miles to the driveway on Right (mailbox on Left)
for 5170 SE Tater Peeler Rd.
6) Drive a full ½ mile on gravel drive to the home.

It’s best to park in the center drive for front door access.
