Our stay at Werner's apartment was fantastic. The apartment is in a good location and very close to any form of public transport (15 minute walk to Marienplatz and 10 minute walk to central station).
The apartment is exactly as described with fast and functioning internet, clean bathroom + bed linen as well as a clean kitchen.
Werner was very kind to allow us to leave our bags in the room a little later than checkout as there was no one else staying there. Whilst we did not get to meet Werner he ensured that everything was prepared for our arrival and had a friend give us the keys at the apartment.
If we were to visit Munich again we would not hesitate to stay here!
Fantastic place! The apartment was clean, comfortable and in a great location. I was there for business and it had everything I needed, especially a great Internet connection. Werner was a great host even calling me to make sure I found the fan during a heat wave in Munich. I would definitely stay there again!
Werner's apartment is fantastic. We were graciously greeted and helped up to the apartment by friends of Werner's. the place is well sized and very bright. The apartment is well appointed and in very good neighborhood. It is just 2 stops by ubahn to marienplatz and most of the sights in the city center. I'd recommend this place without any hesitation. Thanks, Werner.
It is a clean, nicely decorated, conveniently located, well equipped appartment. Someone was waiting for me to give me the keys. I enjoyed my stay.
Great place. Highly recommended.
Werner responded very quickly on our reservation request and was a very friendly host. The apartment is very clean, central and very quiet. The neighbourhood has everything a traveler needs: supermarkets, three or four bakeries, restaurants (Vietnamese, Italian, German) and excellent connections with U-bahn, bus and tram. I can recommend this address without any restrictions.
My husband and I stayed here in Werner’s apartment for a week at the beginning of December to celebrate his 60th birthday in Munich. The apartment is very centrally located yet on a nice quiet street in a nice neighborhood so we were always able to get a good night’s sleep. Speaking of sleeping, the bed is very comfortable and is a true queen sized bed (by American standards). The apartment itself is cozy and well appointed with a TV, wifi, and a stereo system that also has an ipod docking/charging feature. It was so nice to have the kitchenette and our own bathroom as well. The neighborhood has a very “safe” feel to it and there were several quaint shops/boutiques/restaurants/pubs all within walking distance. Also within walking distance (a very short walk) is the U train station. The only thing that might be considered a drawback for some people is the size of the shower. If you are a “plus size” person you might find the shower to be pretty tight. . I had looked at several hotels in the immediate area before booking with Werner and noticed that having a queen sized bed and even a bathroom in your hotel room is not always an option. Often what you get in a hotel room for a similar price to what we spent on the apartment is just a bare bones hotel room with two twin beds and you share the bathroom and shower facilities with other guests down the hall. I know this may be a European thing but I just knew my husband would not be into that at all…..I have never used airbnb before and was a little nervous about the entire process (especially travelling all the way from Orlando, Florida to Munich, Germany). But I hae to say that everything went off without a hitch. Werner’s friend Thomas was there to meet us at the apartment as soon as we arrived and gave us the keys and some info about the immediate area. He was so sweet. He even helped us to get our luggage up to the apartment. It was a wonderful experience and I am so glad that I used airbnb to secure our lodging for our trip. Thank you Werner & Thomas!
