This lovely cabin is tucked into a wooded location convenient to North Pole Fairbanks and Eielson.Cabin is arranged with TWO UNITS on one foundation/PRIVATE ENTRANCES for each/common wall between. FRONT unit sleeps 5.Two queen beds (one on main floor and one up in a loft and a small hide-a-bed.
Rear unit sleeps 4/Two Queen beds (one on the main floor and one up in a loft area. Each unit has an equipped kitchen, table and chairs, full private bath, linens and Dishes.WiFi and Local TV

The space
Cabin is private but your host is on the same property and available to help. There are two cabin units, but you do not share their space at all. There is a common wall and some sounds could transfer from one cabin unit to the other (considered as the ONLY negative thing about this lovely cabin rental). 25 years of HAPPY GUESTS.

Guest access
Your cabin unit is strictly YOURS. All private and only for you. (Bath area, cooking area, and both sleeping areas--one on the main floor and one up in the loft area--both queen beds. Parking is nearby with 150 feet to walk from your vehicle to the cabin unit. You are provided your own key and a second key is available in the event you lock yourself out.

Other things to note
There is a kitchen in each cabin unit. Dishes, utensils, and cookware is provided. If you need more, just let me know and I will assist as I am able. Cabins have full range with 4 burners and oven, small size refrigerator with separate freezer, coffee pot, microwave, toaster, and efficiency kitchen sink. Table and chairs for 4 are in cabin and outside there is a picnic tables (one with an umbrella covering) and two BBQ grills. One propane and one charcoal. I provide coffee and tea in the cabin, but many guests purchase their preferred brands. NO food is provided (unless there are special requests made and agreed upon). There is a full grocery and liquor store within 1 mile of our address. The bus system could be used. There is a stop within 1/4 mile...but the frequency is over an hour wait between and connecting with other buses may seem time-consuming to a traveler. I recommend renting your own vehicle. Small SUV or car is fine. Our roads are well maintained and you need not feel as if you must reserve a large 4-wheel drive vehicle. front wheel drive and ALL-WHEEL drive are quite sufficient, although you still must use good driving skills.

Neighborhood highlights

We are a wooded and private neighborhood. There is a neighbor on either side of us, but we each are 2 acre properties. No one seems a bother and you will feel secure and safe. Many guests take a walk around the neighborhood, or over to the nearby grocery store or the restaurants that are nearby within a mile or two. Guests also enjoy a walk around the LAKE that is just across the little road that boarders our property. The clear skies above the lake a afford Northern Lights views (when skies are clear and dark).

Born in Alaska. Parents were pilots and adventures. Dad drove the Alaska Hwy as it was being built in 1943. Our cabin retreat is nestled into a private wooded waterfront setting, offering hot water, indoor plumbing, and comfortable beds. Our log cabin retreat is an Alaskan experience without having to go too far into the woods. Located within minutes of the highway and shops, minutes from Fairbanks, North Pole, and the Santa Claus House, we offer comfort and privacy along with convenience.
