About this listing
You will be my guests in this lovely guest-room, during your stay in Paris.
Believe me, you will feel good and will have the impression that you have always being living here!
I am myself a globe-trotter, and I like to host travellers from all over the world in my house.
This apartment is typically Parisian: there is a fire-place in each and every room (including in the bed-room), an antique wooden floor and molding on the ceilings: gorgeous!
My home is also decorated with plenty of pieces of furniture and objects I have found the last 20 years when travelling. Not really Ikea-addict but the atmosphere of the apartment will tell you many stories.
The room is furnished with a double bed, with new and comfortable bedding. Decorated in Zen tones, and looking onto a quiet yard, the room garanties a peaceful time for the guests. Linen and towels are supplied.
WiFi is available for free.
The Art-deco style bathroom is adjacent to the room.
You will of course have access to the bathroom and WC.
You can also use the kitchen to store your food in the fridge, or to prepare your breakfast. The coffee-machine and a kittle are available to the guests.
Interaction with Guests
Although I am not very often at hom, I like to share experience of travelling with my guests.
Feel free to ask me any question you may have.
This apartment is situated in a traditional and smart building, not looking onto street. I am situated in the 17th district. Les Batignolles, which is the name of the neighbourhood is very charming; a kind of village in Paris, with plenty of traditional stores a church, restaurants and cafés.
The Moulin Rouge is 5mn away walking distance. I would also suggest to walk to Parc Monceau, very smart and historic, or the Sacré Coeur, passing the famous Amelie café.
The nearest Metro stations are situated on lines 2 and 13, and of numerous buses lines can bring you anywhere in Paris.
We don't really have strict rules, though anything illegal is not allowed in the apartment.
Gay people are welcome.
I kindly ask guests not to have any meal (except breakfast) in the apartment.
This is a non-smoking apartment, but it is still possible to smoke at the window in the kitchen.
It was a very nice reception from the host, despite the late arrival. The contact with the host worked great. The room is decorated very warm and nice and makes you feel at home. The neighborhood invites formally to go to a walk there and to sit down in a cafe or restaurant. All in all a super nice place centrally located in Paris and you come very quickly from one place to another with the Metro. I think in the near future I will perceive the offer again. :-)
The room was nice and tastefully decorated and the apartment is small and quiet. The attached bathroom in the bedroom does not come with a toilet. The toilet is outside on a shared basis. Olivier had prepared all information in a booklet so there was no need for much interaction. Location is ok if you are familiar with Paris but quite far away from tourist places.
It really was a nice decorated guest-room resp. apartment and Olivier was a kind and correct host. We found everything as described and shown on pictures. The neighbourhood also was attractive, near wonderful Montmatre and not far to the next underground station.
Olivier hasn't been at home during my stay but the room was exactly as shown in photos and I found everything exactly as described. The flat and the guest room are really lovely and located in a charmy area.
The room is really good. Quiet and clean.
Location is good. Metro nearby, restaurant and bakery shop is just nearby.
And of course, Olivier had provided a nice atmosphere.
A wonderfull room in a great area of Paris. It has a good bed and the neighbourhood is realy quiet.
Olivier had everything well organized. A handy map full of information of wich restaurants and shops are worthwhile closeby. Metro stations are not far off.

About the Host, Olivier
I live in a cosy apartment in Nantes, and it is a pleasure to share it with travellers coming from all over the world.
I like meeting people with different culture and hosting is a good way to do so.
Travelling is my moto. Peru, Madagascar, Indonesia, Turkey, New Zealand, Florida, Myanmar (Burma), Russia, Sydney and South-Africa... I have enjoyed all these parts of the world. My next trips will be Serbia/Monte Negro and hopefully California. My aim is always to meet new cultures.
