The moment you enter my flat on the 45th floor of this well-managed, conveniently located building you will know that you made the right choice. The views will astound you. The interior is tastefully decorated and offers all modern amenities.
This flat is conveniently located in Sai Ying Pun (near Sheungwan and Central).
It is tastefully renovated and includes
- an open kitchen, with 3-in-1 oven, electric burner, refrigerator with freezer, and other modern kitchen appliances.
- one bedroom with built-in full king sized bed occupying the entire bedroom with fantastic view of the harbour.
- large flat screen TV on a wall mount for viewing from the living room or bedroom, NOW Broadband, Apple TV, Karaoke machine, DVD player.
- Wi-fi, iMac, color printer/copier/scanner.
It is on the 45 floor of a relatively new building (Princeton Tower) and has a fantastic view of the harbor.
It is near the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park which has a beautiful soccer/football pitch, squash courts and olympic size swimming pool. If you enjoy football, you can join (website hidden) for nearby matches. There is a small gym on ground level.
The door has a biometric lock with a password combination that I can provide you to enter the flat.
My helper Vicky lives nearby and can assist if any issues arise during your stay. I will provide you with her number before your stay.

Interaction with Guests
My property manager Vicky is in Hong Kong and will greet the guests and introduce them to the flat and answer any questions or try her best to solve any issues that may arise during their stay. I am also available to answer any questions or resolve any issues that guests may encounter.
I love my neighborhood because while the street level offers all the sights and sounds of authentic Hong Kong, you enter my building and are transported into a private sanctuary that is removed from the hustle and bustle. My flat is within walking distance (for me) of Central and SoHo and Lankuaifong, and morning runs or hikes up to and around the Peak are fantastic. The end of Hollywood Road is right above my flat and there are an increasing number of good restaurants and bars on this end of Hollywood Road.
My building is right above the new Sai Ying Pun MTR station which is due for completion this year. (Fingers crossed!) The closest MTR station is only a 10 minute walk in the meantime. Many public buses and minibuses and the tram stop right in front of my building. Hailing a taxi is fairly easy. Try walking to Queens Road in front of Queens Terrace if you are heading up Hollywood Road. The Macau Ferry terminal is also within walking distance.
Please be respectful of my flat. It is my house and I am renting it out while I travel. Please just look after it like your own.
No smoking and no pets.
If you must smoke, please smoke outside on the balcony with the doors closed.
Do not throw any items over the balcony including cigarette butts.
Please do not drink or eat anything on the sofa that may leave a stain. Please do not scratch the stove top with abrasive materials. Please deposit the garbage into the can in the stairwell during your stay and upon check out.
My helper is in Hong Kong to help with any issues that may arise and I will provide you with her contact information upon acceptance of your booking.
I ask for a $30 cleaning fee. If you would like to arrange for my helper to come clean during your stay, please make the necessary arrangements with her directly. When I stay there, I have her come only once a week so I would think that should be sufficient.
I ask for a $300 deposit. This is returned in full on departure provided there is no damage.
If a guest stays for 1 week or more, the guest agrees to have the flat cleaned by my property manager Vicky or her designated cleaner at least once during their stay at their own cost and at Vicky's current hourly rate of $60.
If a guest loses the access card for the side door to the building, I will charge the guest $65 from their security deposit to cover the costs and time involved in obtaining a new card.
The view from the apartment is superb, and we never tired of just sitting down at the end of each day with a drink and looking out at the goings on in the harbour.
The apartment itself (once you tear yourself away from the view) was as described. It is quite cosy and really only suitable for 2 people. The kitchen, although compact, allowed us to make our dinner most evenings as we would tend to eat out for lunch. The bed was very comfortable; the bathroom clean with a good shower; and the lounge area also comfortable.
Dealing with Vicki went reasonably smoothly (no thanks to AirBnB), and the 1 minor problem we had (the WiFi lost connectivity and had to be rebooted) was promptly resolved.
We would stay here again without a moment's hesitation.
This is just a spectacular apartment
On the 45th floor , amazing views of Vict Harbour , very nice , modern building , short walk to train station , plenty of cafes/casual food places around.
Also five minute walk from Harbour promenade if you want to go for a walk or jog etc. Also good sports centre there , large swimming pool , gym etc etc
The apartment comfortably fits two people & is fitted out immaculately. Large screen Mac computer with scanner & excellent internet connection for byo laptop.
My rating 10/10 , book this place, much better than the overpriced hotel scene in Hong Kong
I would not hesitate to recommend the place to family & friends. And will definitely attempt to book it on the frequent trips I make to Hong Kong.
There won't be any hassles with the keypass pickup , Matt has excellent help which is just a phone call away. And that phone is always answered if you need anything.
Great apartment with a stunning view. I enjoyed staying in this great apartment. The apartment and the building are in excellent condition. The communication with Matthew and Vicky was fast and professional. Very central location with a Tram stop just in front of the building. I would highly recommend staying in this apartment when visiting Hongkong!

Wow! What a place - everything we hoped for and more! Fantastic views, great location amongst the old and the new - immediate area was famous for Chinese herbal medicines and seafood wholesalers and the old HK trams were straight outside the door. Views of Harbour and the skyscrapers out back were fantastic. Vicky was very helpful with meeting us and showing us the flat. We made use of the SC kitchen and also ate out at the restaurants nearby. I'd recommend this apartment to anyone.
Warm welcome at Hong Kong Island. To rent the appartment from Mathew was the right decision. Perfect and clean. But the best was the great view over the Harbour and to the ICC. We enjoyed our red wine on the balcony very well. Also to use the Ding Ding was a good experience. Will come back again. Much better than a Hotel.
Although we never met Matt we can't say enough amazing things about his place in Hong Kong! An excellent location paired with a spectacular view makes this place an unforgettable accommodation. As first-time visitors, Matt was more than helpful in providing places near his place to eat and visit and we can definitively say that we would recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting Hong Kong.
