It's 5 O'clock Somewhere is located across the street from the San Bernardino national forest, in a quiet residential neighborhood of Big Bear Lake and close to everything you want to do. Ditch the car and walk to the Village and all the best restaurants & bars. Summit and Bear are about 5-10 minutes by car. Take a hike. Pine Knot trail is literally out the door and around the corner or continue on Mill Creek to Skyline Drive and walk, bike or drive the fire trail.

The space
It's 5 O'clock Somewhere in Big Bear features a knotty pine interior and is the perfect place to come together for a blissful day. The wrap around deck is the ideal place to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Well designed and furnished with an upscale rustic aesthetic, you will find everything you need to entertain family and friends. Spend time relaxing in the hot tub, gather some friends for a game of shuffle board inside, a game on the lawn or snuggle up by the fire with your favorite book or glass of wine. Summertime lake access and boat ramps are close by, as are favorite area activities like hiking, shopping, dining and more. In the winter, Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are just a few minutes away. It doesn't get any better than this. Here it may only be half-past twelve, but you won't care: It's 5 O'clock Somewhere! Be OUR guest and escape the clock!

Hi, my name is Stu. Welcome to my 2 Big Bear cabins, "It's 5 O'clock Somewhere" and "Wish You Were Here". Everyone needs some time to get away and decompress. Many years ago my wife and I found that it was just too convenient to jump in the car and drive to Big Bear for some outdoor adventures with the kids or some momma and me quiet time. Not too long ago we found "our happy places" and we want to share them with you. Enjoy your stay!! Rent one or rent both for your larger group, they are separated by a 2 minute walk. 3 bed / 2 bathroom cabin across the street to the national forest and just minutes to the village, lake, Bear and Summit. airbnb.com/h/its-5-oclock-somewhere-big-bear-lake-california 2 bed / 1 bathroom airbnb.com/h/wish-you-were-here-big-bear-lake-california

Maximum number of guests is 6 and will be verified at check in, see house rules for non compliance.

Due to a family member with severe allergies, we have a strict NO ANIMAL/NO SMOKING policy. The safety, health and enjoyment of my family and guests is paramount. Thank you for respecting our rules.

Unlike a lot of Big Bear Lake rentals, It's 5 O'clock Somewhere IS a registered private home rental, inspected annually for your safety, and operates with a business license issued by the City of Big Bear Lake. Nightly rate and cleaning fee include city-required 8% TOT tax and 3% TBID tax.

Early check in and late check out may be available for $25/hour and must be approved in writing and must not conflict with other reservations or cleaning schedule.

This rental property is managed by us, not by a rental agency listing hundreds of cabins. We are very detail-oriented and dedicated to ensuring your enjoyment of our home. You will have 24/7 access to us remotely via email or phone/text during your stay. However, I believe most questions can be answered by reading the house manual on the coffee table. We will make every attempt to address issues and concerns that may arise and can arrange for onsite services as necessary. Our home is meticulously cleaned after each guest by the same crew who know our home well and are trusted and consistently provide excellent service. Our home is not serviced by a cleaning company who sends someone different each time with little awareness of things that may be broken, missing, or out of place. We believe these things set us apart from other rental properties in Big Bear.
