  • I have already spent 1 week at Amalia's house and still have little less than a month to go. It is a great place to stay!
Amalia and her family are very welcoming and easy to talk to.
The location is just perfect, close enough to public transportation, super market, city center and everything one may need!
My room is cozy indeed and I am glad to have booked my stay here.

Thanks to Amalia and her family for such a great place to stay!

  • I had a wonderful stay at Amalias. It is in a nice location, close to city center, but far enough away. The room was clean and comfortwillable. Amalia is very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. If you are there, don't miss the textile museum just 3 blocks away. It is a good place and a reasonable price.

  • This is a great place to stay in Antigua. Its a short walk from the centre but in a nice part of town that is a bit more real than the very touristy centre. The rooms are small but very nice, good bed, a desk and everything you need for a short or medium stay. Amalia is a very nice person and really easy to live with. I highly recommend this place. The price is good too compared to expensive hotels and some hostels. Good value, good location, nice rooms and a lovely host. What else would you want?

  • I arrived late into Antigua after a 24hr journey and I was full of the cold and not feeling too great. Fortunately, a cozy, clean room and a warm welcome awaited me. The property has an excellent location and is a 5 minute walk into the centre, yet far enough away for some peace and tranquility. I have no hesitation recommending a stay here.

  • Amalia was a lovely host! She was very knowledgeable about Antigua and shared recommendations for local sights and restaurants as well as a map to use during my visit. I stayed in one of the small rooms upstairs with shared bathroom and it was a good value - twin bed, good storage space and even a small desk. Thank you again to Amalia and her family! :)
