This is my and my girlfriend's second stay with Amalia and she is wonderful! I actually misplaced the room key while here and she was extremely understanding and forgiving. Highly recommend a stay at the La Casa de Amalia!
Loved staying at Amalia's. Her house has such a warm, welcoming feel - I felt comfortable straight away. Amalia was kind enough to give me drinking water on arrival and food to make breakfast the next day. Her house is in a good location, close to restaurants, markets and the centre of town. You also get the opportunity to meet fellow travellers also staying with her. I highly recommend!
Her little cookies at breakfast were the best. I wanted to smuggle the entire jar back to the states.
Amalia has a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay with her.
She was warm and welcoming and helped us with our Spanish.
We would definitely recommend her rooms for anyone wishing to stay in the heart of Antigua. A few steps to everything we wanted to see or do.
Amalia's place is very convenient to downtown and such. We enjoyed our stay at her casa. She made us feel very welcomed.
Mes. Jarquin is a Great hostess. She is warm and friendly. She hands you The Keys to The House so you can come and go at any time without having to ring The bell. The shower room is exclusive for the use of the guests. She also left eggs and bread in the kitchen so you can prepare a nice breakfast. I loved the View of the volcano from the balcony.
