The location of the cottage makes it ideal for exploring the coastline of West Cork and Kerry. It is close to the Coomhola River and the Atlantic ocean. While located in a rural setting it is an ideal base for exploring a host of delightful villages and towns. The cottage provides easy access to Bantry and Glengarriff golf clubs, both open to visitors.
Ideally you will need access to a car to stay at the cottage. However, if you are up for walking the bus from Cork to Glengarriff No 236 (website hidden)(phone number hidden).pdf passes about fifteen minutes walk from the house daily at Ballylickey. See schedule.
Maximum of 6 people. No smoking.
Just back from Michelle's cottage. It was everything we hoped for; bright, clean, comfortable. Nice quality furniture, plenty of books, relaxing & some very nice artwork. It was great to have such easy access to stunning walks in the surrounding hills. Soaking in the ultra large antique bath eased any aches walking and snuggling down in front of the stove rounded off the day nicely. The cottage is an ideal location for exploring West Cork and Kerry.
We would definitely recommend it and will be back.
Just wished we could have stayed longer.
