Joanne Lees place was extremely convenient in a cool neighborhood. The place had all the basics and was comfortable. Very easy to get downtown as the subway is right outside the door and across the street. The downside to this is when the subway rides by you can hear the noise if the window is open. Joanne makes the airbnb process very easy and is very accomodating. Oh and the Divvy brand bikes are right outside, which is very convenient (google Divvy if you aren't familiar). When I visit Chicago again, I'd stay here!
Joanne was a great host even though we didn't meet. She was very accommodating and patient through my booking period. The apartment was nice, but the pictures are outdated. The location was great very close to places depending on what you're looking for. Joanne stayed in contact with me quite often. Especially due to TV and internet connection.
The apartment and location were nice, safe and convenient. I felt right at home and having a kitchen was great because I like to cook. Easy access to the train and transportation and minutes away from fun! Great place for the price. Internet and cable were not working while I stayed unfortunately.
Joanne hosted my parents for a month. She was very responsive, and the apartment is conveniently located near a produce store and coffee shop that they visited often. If you will be using the train system on your visit, you can't beat the location next to the Red Line (bonus: you'll never hear the train while in the apartment.)
Joanne is an extremely professional and super sweet host that allowed myself and my dog to stay while we were vacationing for the few days.
She'd made sure that I was in-and-out of the apartment, smoothly, and allowed me to store my backpack in her closet after check out and before my flight back home.
The apartment was super spacious for myself and Bauer (my Frenchie) to run around in circles in; to which was a lot of fun.
The laundry place downstairs is clutch; just swipe your debit/credit card and it starts either the washing or drying machine.
The gym is well-equipped and the location of the apartment is next to the red line off Morse, so that made it super convenient for me to get to the airport and downtown.
Last but never the least: I was of walking distance to Loyola Park.
Would definitely recommend her place for anyone wanting to visit Chicago. :)
the neighborhood was absolutely amazing, very convenient as far has transportation is concerned. The place was clean and very fashionable. Very close to a grocery store, the red line, which runs 24 hours, down the street from the beach. it's a very prime Location.. Highly recommend it.
