This lovingly renovated 1935 four square home is located on the Elk River. Back yard views the gazebo and the river. Original wood work, restored antiques and artwork add interest.

One bedroom with access to common areas is available for $74/night.

Two bedrooms are available for $140/night

The booking will show the one night rate, but if 2 bedrooms are booked the price will be adjusted.

Three bedrooms can be rented for $200 per night (if available)

Whether you enjoy reading on the back porch glider, playing scrabble in the game room or kayaking a local river, River House is the perfect spot. Located in the geographical center of West Virginia, most WV destinations are a day trip away.

You can hike Bull Town Battlegound in the morning, kayak Sutton Dam in the afternoon and dine at Stonewall Resort in the evening.

Our local diner and the Dairy Queen are within walking distance.

This is my home which I wish to share with you as I alternate between Florida and West Virginia. Anyone who stays here, even renting one bedroom, has access to all common areas. The entire house can be leased. But if you want a total privacy, please message me your wishes. I do live here 5 months of the year. Funds received are used for travel, one of my favorite hobbies. Please enjoy and care for my home as I do.
