The Space

Spectacular 465 sq/ft. corner quaint studio available.

This studio apartment is at the end of the hall in a fabulous concrete building called Anchor Point 3. This private place is Fully furnished and bright with skylight windows and Hardwood floors. There's a balcony with some city view.

Fully equipt kitchen with spices and a dishwasher. Two couches and an upright piano & the best quality queen size bed.

Cable TV & Free wireless internet, with no download limit.

There is a Huge Roof top deck (shared with others in the building complex; rarely (and surprisingly so) is it used; with water and city views.

You will be given towels and sheets, much like a very nice hotel room.

2 minute walk to the beach, the seawall & the ferry to Granville Island.

13 minute walk to the Granville Skytrain station (can take you to the airport as well)

24 minute drive to the airport

Very close to all the best central shopping areas (Yaletown area and Robson street)

3 minute walk to a Fitness world gym and / or a community indoor pool facility/rec centre.

Fantastic coffee shops, sushi restaurants & indian food and fast food very close by. Bicycle rentals, and the seawall within steps of the front door of the Anchor point building (where you will be staying).

The completely private unit is facing narrow 2 lane one way street (Hornby) which also has a biking lane. The long kitchen window looks out to Drake street and the fabulous North Shore Mountains and Musette Cafe. Heads up: Currently there is construction across the street during the week so on weekdays you can hear it, and it starts at 7am. It has not bothered most of our guests. Also it is a downtown location so please expect some traffic sounds as well.

Most transit buses leaves from Burrard Street (one street over- parallel to Hornby to the West). The skytrain is an approximate 13 minute walk. The hop-on hop off tour buses leave from Howe Street (one street over also parallel to Hornby to the East)

**If you need to check in after 10pm (22:00), we need to make special arrangements; it's not always possible, so please ask in your reservation request, so we can check our options on how to get you a key on the day you have specified as your check in day.

LIVE MUSIC CLUBS NEAR BY:
The Railway club (low ceiling 2nd level bar-iconic to Vancouver)
The Backstage Lounge (on Granville Island)
Carderos (Also a great restaurant! This live music is 'cover tunes' played by a solo performer- nightly)
The Fan club (loud but great sound and often blues)
The Media club (a quirky place with a variety with bands nightly)
The Electric Owl (great venue though a dodgy part of town...becoming much hipper)

  • Melanie's apartment was the perfect little suite and although she wasn't there, her boyfriend Ron was nice enough to pick us up from the train station and give us a mini tour of beautiful Vancouver.

    Das Appartment ist sehr zentral gelegen und man kann alles was man in Vancouver unternehmen möchte zu Fuß erreichen. Vom Platz her ist das Appartment perfekt für 2 Personen.

  • This place was perfect for enjoying the city and Melanie was a great host! The location was ideal to walk to numerous bars and restaurants, Stanley park and Granville island/market (via ferry). Melanie provided us access to convenient underground parking which is ideal if you have a rental car. Melanie was very responsive and easy to communicate with and provided great recommendations.

  • Arranged everything last minute, and her friend was kind enough to work around our schedule. Place was very cozy, and felt like home away from home! Would definitely recommend it to others who want to stay in Vancouver, and want to be greeted by great hosts!
