If you're coming to experience Asheville, why not stay downtown and experience true downtown living? We have one of the very few houses located right downtown. You can park your car in our driveway and walk to great restaurants, clubs and galleries in five minutes.
Our charming renovated 100 year old house is on a quiet side street but close to the heart of everything.
It's a treat to be able to go walking downtown, shop, (email hidden)e back to the house....change clothes and head out again without having to drive back and forth to a hotel or try to find parking and pay for it. And.....It's just a whole different experience staying downtown period.
Your cheerful room is upstairs -has a very comfy queen bed with a cozy duvet and an attached private full bath. Sorry....no TV. Asheville will keep you busy enough, you won't miss the TV.
Clean and simple. Coffee and tea will be ready for you in the morning with some fresh fruit or perhaps a bagel if you wish.
Honestly, I would head to Tupelo Honey, Over Easy, or Sunny Point for breakfast.
We are a 10 minute drive to the Biltmore Estate and close to the Blue Ridge Pkwy for great hiking trips.
We have internet access.
If you are flying in to the Asheville airport, there is a bus that will take you to the station downtown. It is one street over from our house so it is super easy to enjoy Asheville without renting a car.
Women....if you are traveling alone, this is a great option for you. You will have your privacy, but it's nice to know there are friendly people nearby to make you feel welcome and safe.
$99 per night. $110 for two people. I pay the sales and use taxes. I prefer a two night booking but I'm flexible.
My husband and I are friendly, easy going people. Our little dog Frito lives here with us.
Come visit!- We will make you feel welcome and you'll love Asheville, there's so much to see and do!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Amy ande Ken were so nice and accomidating. The place was perfectly located for any Downtown access to Asheville.
the area is super safe and had no worries walking too and from the house at all hours of the night.
The price is wonderfuil compared to any and all hotels in the area and the free parking is a huge savings.
I would recommend it to anyone and I will go there again next time we go to Asheville.
Amy was a very welcoming, laid-back host, and the location could not be better!
I had a wonderful stay at the house of Amy and Ken. The place is beautiful and very quite but in walking distance of a lot of shops, Bars, Breweries, Restaurants and Cafés. Amy and Kenn are very nice and interesting people and Asheville is a cute and safe little town.
Amy and her husband were great hosts. The location is awesome for exploring downtown and they are more than happy to give you advice on good spots to go. The house is cozy as well and it was an overall great stay!
Visited Asheville for the first time. The room easily met the 4 C's: Cozy, Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient. And Amy and her husband were wonderful hosts who made me feel right at home. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Amy and Ken were great hosts! There home exudes a wonderful vibe! Our room was very comfortable and cozy. Downtown Asheville is just steps away. Highly recommended!
Amy and her husband were great hosts, very friendly and welcoming. The room and bathroom were clean and neat. Within walking distance to anything downtown Asheville. I had a very pleasant experience here, even though I only stayed the weekend. I miss Frito. : )
If you are planning to visit Ashville and your lucky enough to have Amy's place as an option, just book it. Don't even bother looking any where else. Its perfect.
My husband and I spent three nights at Amy's and loved everything about our visit. Amy and her husband were wonderful hosts, easy to talk to and full of information about what to see and do in and around Asheville. We loved their dog, Frito who warmed up to us very quickly and was ever so sweet. Amy's homemade banana bread and coffee were just what we needed to begin our days of exploring the Asheville area. Our suite was lovely with a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The location is perfect, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, galleries and nightlife. We would definitely stay with Amy again and recommend her lovely home without reservation.
This was my very first airbnb.com experience and I am extremely pleased! Amy and her husband were very welcoming and friendly hosts and made me feel right at home. The location made it very easy for me to walk around downtown without ever having to drive. The room and private bathroom were very comfortable.. just perfect! I would prefer this over a noisy downtown hotel any day... the house is on a quiet street but still close to everything... I will be back!
