Where you’ll be

Volcan, Provincia de Chiriquí, Panama

Volcán is a plain little farming town, growing perhaps faster than we'd like, but we are outside of town, surrounded by a horseshoe of hills, and the setting is completely rural. There are several restaurants in town, featuring Panamanian home cooking, Mexican, Italian, etc., very inexpensive by US or European standards, but this is a quiet village most enjoyed by folks who enjoy a simple setting.

For those contemplating retirement in this area, our apt. is a great home base for exploring the area over the course of a month or two, highly recommended before making a final decision.
