The space
Gahr Farm Nature Reserve spans hundreds of acres with expansive views of beautiful Muddy Valley. For outdoor enjoyment there are miles of trails through forests and meadows, along streams and wetlands, where native plants & wildlife are abound.

Guest access
Complete home with access to miles of hiking trails of the nature reserve. Bring hiking boots and tall socks in the summer or tall rubber boots in the wetter months. Be prepared with a camera to capture the wildlife and scenery.

Hi, we’re the Gahr Family - Tim, Jenny, Ben, and Lily! Since 2015 we’ve been blessed to call our 350-acre nature reserve home and to share it with guests through Gahr Farm Cottages. We live here on the land, tending to every detail ourselves because this place and the people who visit mean the world to us. You’ll find us collecting fresh eggs in the morning, baking bread, harvesting whatever’s in season, or hiking the woodland trails that wind through the property.
