This is a great house, and Michael is a great host. Absolutely no complaints. Perfect location, nice kitchen, very responsive host, and shall I mention the amazing peaches and figs growing in the back?
Next time I'm in Tucson I will definitely stay here.
The house is in a great location called the Pie Allen Neighborhood. It is within walking distance of UofA and 4th Avenue where there are restaurants, bars, and entertainment.
The home itself is fairly nice. I was a bit surprised initially, it was smaller than I thought, but I never felt claustrophobic, perhaps because it has front and rear covered patios.
While the bedroom was a bit small, the bed itself was actually fairly comfortable.
We REALLY liked that the Michael has a cleaning person come to the house once a week. . .we try to keep things clean, but get busy at times. The cleaning person also makes check-out fairly (website hidden);DR - it's a bit small, but the location more than makes up for it. . .will stay here again.
From the welcome basket filled with coffee, tea, fresh fruit and snacks to the comfortable bed, well appointed interior and excellent location, our four nights at the University Area Adobe Bungalow couldn't have been better! We've never had a host arrange perfect weather, too :-) Thank you!!
We spent a month at this house in Tucson and really enjoyed it. The space was great for a couple with the occasional friend staying over. Comfy bed and plenty of storage space, nice front porch for sunset watching and full kitchen and BBQ on the back porch space. This location is perfect to get to downtown and the U of A for plenty of entertainment and recreation. Michael did a wonderful job of making sure that we had everything we needed.
Our host, Michael was wonderful. He made us feel very welcome and the house was nicely stocked with all of the necessities plus a few extras like laundry detergent and sweet bread, coffee etc. The king size bed was super comfortable but a bit crowded in the room. Great location and off street parking and nice sunny porch all made for a wonderful stay.
Michael was very detailed in the instructions and the house was very cute and nice. The lock box in the back with the key was perfect because my friend and I could come and go at different times if needed. Really nice space and close to both the university and downtown!
We stayed at Michael's cute little bungalow last weekend for a university event. The location was perfect - a 10-15 min walk to the campus and local shops and restaurants. The house is very clean, we'll stocked, and Michael graciously supplies a Welcome Basket with fresh fruit and snacks. Although Michael is not local, he is easy to contact and quickly responds to messages. I would definitely stay at his property again. Overall a great weekend!

About the Host, Michael
My job has me either in the SF Bay Area, or travelling afar most of the time, so my Tucson bungalow was sitting empty. I asked my housekeeper Linda if she would help me to list the house on AirBNB for selected guests. My mother, Christina, is now helping me with reservations and correspondence. The bungalow is pretty adorable, and is walking distance to the University, Downtown and Fourth Avenue. Linda keeps it super clean and ready for short term rentals, and Christina is now managing the reservations process. Together we make a great team, and have fixed up the house next door now to offer guests additional options in this interesting part of town. We hope you enjoy your stay in beautiful Tucson.
