Entire House, Beautiful sandy beach and one acre meadow with mature plantings and fruit trees. A meadow with fie pit, picnic tables , hammocks and comfortable chairs in the shade. Corn hole, paddle table tennis, floating picnic table, swim platform. horseshoes, volleyball, disc golf, slam ball and a dog area filled with dozens of toys and treats

Other things to note
There are many steps down to the beach. We want those who have difficulty walking to be aware. As of January, 2024. We no longer own kayaks as per changing insurance requirements. Guests can still rent all type of watercraft, kayaks, paddle board and smaller children friendly kayaks for a local vendor. Guests staying at The Retreat House get a special discount rate.

Beautiful, quiet country road the runs along the Penobscot 90 seconds off route 1. You can walk the beach for over a mile uninterrupted and then return via a well marked trail through French's Point. 5 Miles to Bucksport, 13 Miles to Belfast. Easy trip to Bar Harbor, Ellsworth and Camden. We own the meadow across the road from The Retreat House which has a fire ring, hammocks, lawn furniture, a picnic table and a professional size Table Tennis set. The top of the property feature Adirondack chairs under a pine grove with a view of the water.
