When you step in this home, you just feel as if were at yours, that simple !!
Sarah's cake is simply delicious.
And on top of that, if you are a mountain lover, trekker, climber, etc....Rob is THE man you need to meet in Oman (without forgetting Justin & Joe) who all together are like the A-team !
Thanks Rob for those unforgettable moments.
We spent the last 2 nights of our Oman trip at Sarah and Rob's place . Rob had given us all information to find the house easily. The atmosphere is very relaxed,it' s an open house in a nice neighborhood. The rooms are large and have an en suite. God beds, air con,fan and plenty of towels. We were welcome to use the kitchen, Rob provided all breakfast necessities and you can also have a beer or a G&T ( small contribution tbm). We felt very much welcomed and enjoyed the stay in your house. thank you Sarah & Rob!
A couple of buddies and I were in Muscat for a scuba diving trip and had a fantastic stay at Rob and Sarah's place.
Rob and Sarah were great hosts. Though they were traveling, they had left the house open for us and we immediately felt at home. The rooms were comfortable with air conditioning. The living room was stocked with books and movies, and the kitchen had most of the essentials that we had access to. There is a nice outdoor section to spend the evenings in too.
The house is located close to the airport and The Wave (bunch of good places to eat), which is where we needed to go everyday for diving. There is a grocery store nearby and a street with some decent local food.
We ended up meeting Rob on the last day and really enjoyed spending some time getting to know him. We are already looking forward to our next visit here, and hoping to spend more time with him getting to know Muscat from a more local point of view.
Overall, a great stay and definitely (website hidden) you a feel of a local homestay, with all the comforts you need, and the added advantage of some good, fun company.
Thanks Rob & Sarah. See you soon
My best experience on Airbnb yet! Rob and Sara's home is comfortable, spacious, colorful and full of fascinating books on the region. Over and above the comforts of the house and neighborhood meeting and getting to know Rob was a true pleasure. In spite of his busy work schedule he always made time to chat and share his experiences with me. Thanks for making me feel so much at home and be sure that I'll visit again!
Rob was very helpful and opened his place to our family. He assisted us with travel ideas and we loved sitting outside on the porch in the evenings. A great home base for Oman.
