Interaction with Guests
I'm not present on property but live nearby. I generally just communicate with them through Airbnb website.
You right across street from small pier, ocean, and zoo. Kapiolani Park and aquarium are a few minutes walk (under 5) minutes.
Parking info. Bldg parking $17 a day, call Waikiki Grand Hotel reserve a spot. You can park for free around Kapiolani park which is about a 5 minute walk- Paki street side of park and Monsarrat St. Kapiolani Park has free metered parking from 6pm-10am and Sundays. Across the street parking at the zoo cost $1 an hour, this can be cheap since you only pay for what you need.
If you choose not to rent a car, there are multiple bus routes just steps away. I recommend only renting car on days you plan to go North Shore. Everything else is walking distance or easily accessible by bus which is one of the best systems in US.
Other Things to Note
Sometimes there's movies on the beach across the street. Every Friday night fireworks go off in Waikiki.
Few things are important. No sand in the building or down the drains please. Is so important that you know how harmful sand is in the buildings. Do the dishes when you check out and no food down drains.
Francisco and Leah. Franco and I have lived and worked in Hawaii for the past several years. We just recently had our first child and love parenting. We are very involved in the paddling community and love our Hawaii lifestyle. We have been Airbnb hosts for the past 2 years, renting out one of our condo rooms. We recently bought and remodeled a great studio in the Waikiki Grand which we are now listing on Airbnb. We love meeting new people and truly enjoy hosting!
