Our romantic two-bedroom apartment will transport you to the many places we have traveled around the world while you remain mere steps from all of Silver Lake's loveliest and liveliest spots.

The Space

You could hide in this cozy, romantic apartment for days on end, sipping your morning coffee with a view of the Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory.

But since the very best thing about this apartment is its fantastic location, why not head to one of Silver Lake's trendiest coffee shops -- Casbah, Intelligentsia, or Lamill, all within a 5-minute walk? You're lucky. While the apartment is built on a hill it's not way up in the hills, so you can use all those beautiful staircases in the area for fun and not necessity. Later in the day, you can hit a trendy boutique, outstanding restaurant or bar just steps away in both directions down Sunset. Fancy a snack, like grilled cheese sandwich or a gorgeous cupcake? This spot's got you covered, there are award-winning shops for both right on the corner!

Want to explore LA by car? The (phone number hidden), and 134 are all less than 10 minutes' drive.

The apartment itself is both sophisticated and homey -- filled with the fruits of our world travels. It feels hipster, but for grown-ups. You can easily cook up and host a dinner for six or just lay back and watch TV on the huge screen all day. Up to you, no pressure!

The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed with plush linens for some excellent snoozing. The second bedroom can be used either as a second sitting area, office with giant chalkboard, or we can set up the excellent extra-tall queen aeromattress that looks and feels like a real bed when it's all done up with a homey mattress topper and comforter. The apartment easily fits four people, with no couch-crashing.

Of course, since you're probably here to enjoy the best weather in LA, we also have a little patio right outside the front door. Ideal for catching a couple of rays before the sun sets on another gorgeous California day.

Guest Access

Our home is your home during your stay. Play in the kitchen or flop on the couch and watch Hulu Plus or Netflix to your heart's content. We have one reserved parking space available for guests and -- rare in LA -- there aren't many parking rules in the area if you need more street parking.

Interaction with Guests

We'll be there to give you keys, give the best tips for what to see and where to eat (the most important thing, really) and available via phone for questions during your stay.

The Neighborhood

Silver Lake is the perfect area to experience a slower, more neighborhoody and definitely more delicious LA. The best way to see the area is on foot -- up and down our famed staircases, around the reservoir, and in and out of some of the best stores and restaurants in the city. Or pick up some fresh organic food at the local farmer's market and whip up a meal of your own at home.

Getting around

The 2 and 4 buses let off just a block away from the apartment, on Sunset.

Other Things to Note

The stairway leading up to our apartment affords us amazing views and is tame by Silver Lake walking standards -- the equivalent of a second floor walk-up apartment. But if you don't do stairs, this place probably isn't for you.

  • My husband and I had the best stay at Victoria's! Stunning place with treasures in every corner. Truly a best location in exciting Silver Lake which now is one of my favourite neighbourhoods in LA. We had a car so couldn't be happier about the parking spot in front of the apartment. Then again in Silver Lake you can just take a short walk and be surrounded by lovely cafes, restaurants (try Rambutan Thai!) and second hand stores. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you Victoria!

  • This place is a gem. Perfect location in the very best part of LA. Coming from Europe I appreciated there's lots of bars, restaurants, cafés and shops within walking distance.

The apartment itself is tastefully decorated and good sized. Victoria was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

    I totally recommend staying here!

  • Cute and very tasteful place, location is perfect if you want to be right in the heart of Silverlake. Victoria was a great host and very helpful. If you spend a lot of time in the apartment you might miss a bit of light, but you'll want to explore the area anyway. We missed an ironing board, but again that's something you'll only need if you stay for a longer time. This place is very much recommended!! Thanks!

  • The photos did not lie! The place was beautiful and interesting and extremely clean. Our hosts were helpful and kind and then allowed us to enjoy our two week stay in peace.

  • Our family of 4 stayed at Victoria's apartment for about a week. It was an extremely last minute request for a rental, and Victoria was so great in accommodating us on such short notice. Her responses were quick and detailed! She also provided a detailed list of things to do/where to go eat in the area, which were helpful since we had never traveled in that part of LA before.

The home itself is beautiful, with cute and unique decor throughout the space. It was extremely clean upon arrival and comfortable throughout our stay. Having rented several homes for vacations before, this was by far the cleanest which we really appreciated as a family of clean freaks!

I look forward to renting again in our future stays in the LA area. It was a great experience, and Victoria really made a frantic last minute request stress free!

  • I stayed at Victoria's apartment for one night on the tail end of a trip to LA. Victoria was extremely accommodating and easy to work with, given my short notice; she also left me some great restaurant and bar recommendations for the night I arrived.

As for the apartment itself, the photos really don't do it justice! The place is warm and inviting, with attention to every detail. There are trinkets and treasures in every nook and cranny collected from Victoria's travels, and the place is spotless (for me, cleanliness can usually make or break an Air BnB place).

The location was the major reason I picked the apartment, and it far exceeded my expectations. I was able to park my rental car in Victoria's own spot and walked everywhere--Sunset Drive is just a block away.

Overall, a great experience and I'll definitely be booking with Victoria again when I return in a few months. (By the way, probably my favorite part of the apartment is the terrace outside--an absolute perfect place to sit and unwind with some wine after a long day).
