Our stay at Barb's was absolutely amazing! Both her, her husband and daughter were so friendly and welcoming. They provided us with fresh and delicious food and their home is clean and very comfortable. I can not sing their praises enough. If you are looking for a private and friendly place to stay in a beautiful setting, this is the one.
We were all very grateful for their hospitality and would stay again in the drop of a hat.
First let me apologize for the delay review.... I had an amazing time at Barb's property. It was perfect!!!! The place is big, comfortable, clean. The fireplace was a pleasure in the cold nights, the hot tub was an added bonus that we sure enjoyed. Oh and let's not forget about the goats!!! We all LOVED the goats. We played with them, fed them apples, it was really sad to say goodbye! I couldn't think of a better place to spend a relaxing and yet fun weekend!
My husband, myself and our 1 year old baby stayed on Barb's country property for 2 nights. The land and views were absolutely stunning and Barb and her husband were wonderful hosts. The pool was closed for the season but the hot tub was great. The play-structure/swing-set and small herd of goats and roosters were an added bonus for us and our baby.
The suite itself was very large and very clean. We encountered a few bugs, but nothing surprising since the suite is a walk-out basement...and in the country!
No eggs or bread were provided, but overall a great experience!
A lovely winter weekend getaway. The apartment had everything we needed including firewood for the fireplace and lots of space. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet and peaceful for a good nights sleep. The hot tub was delightful. Case popped by everyday to make sure we had everything we needed. My only comment...get good directions before you go because my GPS could not find the house. Thank-you Barb and Case for making our weekend getaway perfect!
We are a English-Canadian woman and a Dutch-Canadian man, who enjoy living in the country, yet close to town.
We are just a couple of years away from retirement, we enjoy our home with its 9 acres, woodland and wildlife, and we enjoy welcoming guests from around the world, to our Guest Suite.
