Stay in the Heart of NYC. A 15 minute walk to Times Square, you'll be staying in one of the hippest neighborhoods in Manhattan -- Hell's Kitchen!!
** I'm also Fully Vaccinated. I had my Pfizer double-shot. My 2nd dose was April 1st, 2021. I've also been triple-boosted**
The space
@!@ IF YOU'RE COMING FOR THE FIFA World Cup 2026 please scroll down to the bottom of my description for more info @!@
Your Fully Private Room has one comfortable queen size loft bed 🛌 with a Tuft & Needle mattress. It also includes:
* 46” Samsung HD Smart 3D LED TV 📺 (with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video & YouTube Premium)
* Samsung 3D Smart Blu-ray Disc Player (with 3D glasses!)
* WiFi (200 Mbps)
* Mini-Fridge
* Air Conditioning / Heat
* Freshly cleaned sheets, pillows, blankets, bath towels & washcloths
* NYC Guidebooks, Maps and a Native New Yorker's knowledge of cool local 'off-the-beaten-path' stuff to do
* Rotating DISCO 🪩 💃🏽 🕺🏿 BALL & Light!
* 2 Arcade1Up PartyCades with 18 games!!
Most of my visitors are couples, family or good friends who don't mind sharing the bed together. However, I do have a comfortable Intex twin-size air mattress available (BY ADVANCE REQUEST ONLY), but it does make the space in the room a bit tight.
The room is clean, quiet and dark at night. I say this because living in NYC that's often difficult to find with all the street noise, noisy neighbors and bright lights blaring in one's windows. Not the case at my place. You'll sleep 💤 very well.
I have two retro Arcade1Up PartyCades. They’re available for guests to play anytime for free. Some games can even be played together in two-player mode with my additional game controller 🎮 like Joust, Rampage and Street Fighter! 👊
Games included are Defender, Gauntlet, Klax, Rootbeer Tapper, Bubbles, Joust, Rampage, Wizard of War, Sinistar, Gorf, Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Super Puzzle Fighter II: Turbo, Strider, Captain Commando, Eco Fighters and Ghosts ‘n Goblins.
Although I have a fully stocked kitchen I prefer that my guests don’t use it to cook. You’re on vacation after all, visiting NYC, which is a gastronomical and cultural smörgåsbord. You have a mini-fridge in your room.
For a small fee I rent my bicycles 🚴(all 6 of them). Cheaper than renting at any bike shop, you can ride them all day/night too. I also lead easy, safe and fun Night Bicycling Tours of Central Park with Nightrider NYC, as well as other short tours by bike, foot and/or subway. I bicycle toured/camped across the USA twice and rode across Europe in '87, before cell phones and the internet made us all lazy. Let me know what your interests are and maybe I can put something together for you.
I LOVE ❤️ hosting & meeting new people & if I have the time I'll show you around my neighborhood - just ask. I've had some really fun experiences with my former guests.
You'll have some closet space w/hangars & a drawer in my dresser for your clothing, as well as a empty drawer in the WC for your toiletries 🧻 . I have many shampoos, conditioners & other assorted toiletries which you are welcome to use as well as laundry detergent (there's a Laundromat right next to my building).
I'm on the top 5th floor of a 5-story brownstone walk-up **THERE IS NO ELEVATOR**
I provide clean sheets, blankets, pillows & towels and have other assorted toiletries that you can use, including an iron & hairdryer. My place is clean - no bedbugs here!
**I'M A NON-SMOKER 🚭 & DON'T ALLOW SMOKING IN MY APARTMENT OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE BUILDING**
My check-in time is flexible, starting at noon, going until whenever you need to arrive. On a case-by-case basis I might be able to allow an earlier check-in time. Check-out is noon, but, again, on a case-by-case basis I might be able to allow a later check-out time.
I'm a big BROADWAY 🎭 buff. I see nearly every show that comes to NY. This could be a Very Expensive 💴 Hobby, but as I'm a New Yorker who comes from a theater background I have connections and can 'sometimes' get tickets MUCH CHEAPER than anywhere else. If you wanna see a show during your visit (and I wholeheartedly recommend you do so), let me know and I'll try and work my magic for you!
I’m also a member of these 3 following ticket sites that I pay a yearly membership fee to in order to get cheap tickets from: Play-by-Play, Clubfreetime and TDF . During your stay I’ll logon to show you the current offerings and get you ticks to something if you want. Also check out the sites BroadwayForBrokePeople and BwayRush to find out about the cheap Rush and Lottery policies for each Broadway 🎭 show.
If you're a museum junkie, visiting all the cultural institutions that NYC has to offer can be rather expensive 💰. Many places have a ‘suggested donation’ admission, but it’s only for New Yorkers. Don’t worry — I’ve got your back. I’ll give you my extra ID and you can use it to get the special deal. When I visit the MET or the Museum of Natural History (among others) I just pay $1 to get in. Check out this for more info: NYCforfree .
I'm not a gym rat, but I do workout at the local gym (Manhattan Plaza Heath Club - MPHC) that's a 10 minute walk from my bldg. If I bring you with me I can get you a $25 day pass. There's a pool, hot tub, full gym and even a rock-climbing center you can use for the day, plus you can take any of the free classes they offer).
As for me, I'll be sleeping in the living room on the Murphy Wall Bed (see my photos for more into)
Got stinky undies? Well, wash 'em then! I have detergent & fabric softener you can use. A cheap & reliable Coin-Operated Laundromat is right next to my building. You can do it yourself or just drop it off to have it washed (usually done the same day/pay by the pound - or kilo for you crazy Europeans.)
Thanks for checking my place out. If you have any questions let me know!
** I'm also Fully Vaccinated 😷 for Covid through Pfizer. I've been triple-boosted **
*** IF AVAILABLE, for an extra $50 per night for a booking of 2 people you can have my Full Private Apartment. If the booking is for 1 person it's an additional $65 per night ***

Unfortunately Airbnb won't allow me to post links here but I can tell you how to get to MetLife Stadium from NYC Penn Station. It's easy. Penn Station is on 8th Avenue and West 34th Street. I live on 10th Avenue between West 46th & 48th Streets.
In short, you'll have to download an App on your phone to purchase your train tickets. They go on sale on May 13th. Ask me any questions you might have about this and I'll explain it in greater detail. @!@
Guest access
NOTHING is off-limits at my flat -- My place is Your Place! You can use my kitchen, just not at 3am! (you know, during Reasonable hours). You're welcome to use and relax in my front room, unless I'm there working or sleeping.
During your stay
During your stay you can be as private as you want, or come and socialize a bit with me. I like to show my guests around my neighborhood and, if they like, go out for a drink or two. I'm also an avid cyclist, and could possibly take you on a tour of Central Park (I have 6 bikes in the basement we can use). I'll be sleeping in the front room most nights and in-and-out during the day. If you want some ideas & suggestions on off-the-beaten-track stuff that us NYC locals do, just ask!!
Other things to note
Although Hell's Kitchen has a pretty sordid history, it's now one of the hippest neighborhoods in Madhattan! Full of great bars and diverse restaurants that stay open late, just a 15 minute walk to the Theatre District and Times Square, it's a safe, centrally located area where you'll find a lot to do and see for the entire family.
A bit about me:
I'm a Handyman/Writer/Actor/Bicycle Tour Guide and Amateur USBC Bowler trying to survive in the Concrete Jungle we call the Big Apple. I've been surviving here since 1984, so I must be doing something right!
