Hi, my name's Mimmo and i rent a bright double room in an apartment with two rooms with kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is located on 6th floor with elevator and is equipped with a free wireless ADSL connection.
The apartment is located near Cinecittà the famous district of cinema’s studies but also at 5 ' from the wonderful “Aqueducts park” where you’ll find ancient roman aqueducts, a wonderful place to discover nature and archeology.
The apartment is located in a neighborhood with many shops, supermarkets and fresh market. there's the pastry that I think makes the MORONI more good puffs of town, pizzeria's LA CIOCIARA preparing a very good pizza and typical dishes of Roman cuisine. but I can also point you to eat an excellent Italian ice cream or enjoy a typical aperitif.
At the entrance of the palace is the metro station that will allow you to quickly reach the historic town center of the city but also the main train station in the city.
I have a little dog (Idefix) so you should not have fear of pets.

We spent a few nights in Mimmo's apartment, which is exactly what it looks on the photos. The location is perfect, 1 min to metro and metro takes us to the centre of Rome in 15 min. The neighborhood also has everything you need.
Mimmo is a very nice host and he has different fruits, snacks and a lot of pasta in his kitchen which we can use. The apartment is clean and tidy.
Mimmo lives in the living room on the sofa bed, so, we are more or less only in the kitchen in our bedroom.
Since the location is so central and the room is facing the main street, it is quite noisy even at night and at early morning. Not recommend for light sleepers.
Idefix is a nice dog but he can be a bit crazy sometimes :) be sure to keep your socks or they become Idefix's toy!!
Overall, I think it is very nice and I will for sure recommend this place in Rome.
I loved staying with Mimmo and Idefix! The room is huge, airy, light and lovely, and more importantly, Mimmo is a gentle, kind person. I stayed with him in Rome for about six days and enjoyed every minute of it. Mimmo gave me many recommendations for what to see and do in Rome, and I ended up loving all of them! His dog Idefix is also lovely: don't be afraid if he barks at you, he is very nice. The location of the apartment is also very nice, since it's very close to the Lucio Sestio metro station, to the bus stop, and to many cute little trattorias, restaurants, and cafés. As other people said, because the location is so central, there is some noise in the room, but it didn't bother me because if you close the window it's not too loud. I would definitely recommend this listing!
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Mimmo was a great host! Very kind and welcoming. His location is in the middle of the city, with a metro stop a few steps away. With being so central comes with noise though, be sure to have ear plugs handy! We were a little disappointed to see that there were no blinds as shown in the photos (apparently they just broke). I'm sure they will be fixed for the next person though!
Mimmo was very considerate and gentle. He made us coffee when we arrived!! His house was very very convenient where metro is just downstairs for travelling to all of the attractions in Rome. In addition to that, his house is located at a shopping street where there are numerous shops such as supermarkets ( for buying of drinks), H&M, ProMod and restaurants. Mimmo recommended us a very nice restaurant nearby for traditional ovenbake pizzas which is a hidden gem for tourists like us.
He had given us privacy when we need it in the room and friendly & helpful advices when we approach him. He even save the day by booking transport to airport for our early flights.
Strongly recommend his room but just beware of his a bit "crazy" dog, Idefisk, who alway came into the room to steal our socks which alway made us laugh and Mimmo mad...
100% recomendable.
Mimmo is a good host and he's apartment I central location just 2 minute to the metro station from ther 15 min. To the termini station.
Mimmo was a lovely host in a wonderful wee apartment. He is a really friendly guy, happy to help with plenty of information at the ready about Rome and its attractions. It only takes a quick 15 minute rode in the Metro to arrive in the city centre and one minute from his front door to the station. Important to remember that he lives on a main street so you hear a lot of traffic noise but I slept perfectly with earplugs. Thanks Mimmo and Idefix, I had a lovely time!!!
