I’m terribly sorry you were unhappy with your stay at the beach house. Some of your points are absolutely correct. The bathroom is small, and it is off the kitchen. The apartment is on the first floor, and it is not newly renovated. It’s campy. It’s marketed as such and priced as such. My hope is that guests are looking at the pictures on the site which show the layout and the decor. My goal is that my guests have a lovely and relaxing time here.
The living room sofa, which is not brand new but are also not stained. Again, I would have been happy to do my best to ameliorate any situation that had been brought to my attention. It’s certainly possible the guests before you had spilled something without my knowing. I see no stains now.
Had you mentioned that the wifi was not performing well for you, I could have fixed it. I’m upgrading to (Hidden by Airbnb) wifi now that I have this information. The number of devices on which guests want to stream data contemporaneously is increasing every year, so the update seems prudent.
Likewise, if I had known the bathroom faucet was leaking, I would have had my plumber there that same day. It’s fixed now.
The beach chair did not belong to me It had been mistakenly left in the yard by a visiting teenager. That teen’s mother walked a brand new chair down to the beach for you and made sure no one was using her chair before she politely asked to swap them out. I’m sorry for the misunderstanding, but it had nothing to do with me or with the lodgings, I was not aware it happened, and it inconvenienced no one. There are a dozen chairs available for guests to use at any time.
As to the mouse: I can imagine that would be a shock. I’ve been renting since 2002 and have never had a report of mice. However, it certainly can happen. Now that a mouse has been reported to me I’ve called Orkin. I have them on contract to make sure there are no rodents. There have been no mouse sightings since your stay. Please accept my sincere apology that your experience was not as I would have hoped.
