The Circle C Guest House is a 200sf tiny house on the 9-acre Circle C Ranch 6 miles SW of I-5 Exit 103 (Riddle/Tri City), which is 21 miles S of Roseburg. We're not far from the Umpqua valley's many wineries, Wildlife Safari and Seven Feathers Casino with fishing, hunting, hiking and cycling opportunities nearby as well. Peaceful, rural location - everything you need to get away from it all. If staying 3 or more nights, click "Contact Host" and ask about a discount before booking.

The space
The Circle C Guest House has its own bathroom, a queen bed, glider rocker, dresser, bookshelf/books, bistro table and chairs and the basics for preparing simple meals (mini fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, table setting for two and a few kitchen utensils). You may also use Dan and Sally's BBQ grill on their patio, if you wish. We are committed to Airbnb's cleaning protocols and
use CDC approved odorless disinfectant.

The original 9 x 17 structure was built in approximately 2012 and the flooring, windows and door show some wear and tear. The bathroom was added in 2017. This tiny house sits about 50 yards from the main house and has windows in every direction, providing scenic views and fresh air.

For winter months, a heater is provided. As for summer, there is no air conditioning, however the guest house sits in a fairly shaded area and a fan is provided. It can get quite warm in the middle of the day during July and August, but mornings and evenings are typically fairly cool.

Guest access
Guests have use of the entire guest house and surrounding lawn. Guests are also welcome to explore the outdoor areas of the ranch, as long as they do not open and enter through gated areas without permission.

Other things to note
We often get visits from wild turkeys and deer and while there are also foxes and skunks in the vicinity, they rarely come near the buildings. In the fall, you can watch salmon spawning and you may even hear some elk bugling. Also, we try to be sensitive to our guests' needs, however, since we have horses and there are always projects to be done, don't be surprised if you hear activity around 8:00 a.m.

The Circle C Ranch is one of a handful of acreages, varying from 1.5 to 15 acres, that are situated near Cow Creek to the north and Council Creek to the east, all along a gravel road about a half mile long. Many properties in the area are well taken care of, however, some are vacant or show evidence of people struggling to maintain their homes. You'll see a few cows, goats, chickens and horses and almost everyone has a dog. A singing bridge (grated metal that "sings" when cars drive on it), trucks from logging companies and a nearby sand processing plant, and a railroad do bear evidence of civilization but since they are a mile or so away, the sound is muted.
