Staying with Dave and Emil was absolutely wonderful. Their house is beyond clean, warm, and makes you feel at home immediately. The living space in the bedroom is great and the common space is immaculate, relaxing and welcoming.
On top of the clean and great physical space, Dave and Emil are as kind, caring, and interesting as it gets. I stayed here for the first month that I moved to the area while settling in and was honestly sad to leave their company. Anyone staying with Dave and Emil will not only have a comfortable place to stay, but likely make a new friend.
David ensured that he was available to meet me at arrival and explain all that was necessary for my stay. I could not have expected more in order to make my stay comfortable as a guest in his home.
I have been a repeat customer and cannot say enough good things about David's hosting. The entire house is always very clean, the room well prepared for my arrival and a very friendly welcoming. David can make you feel at home quickly without intruding on your personal space. If you are the quite type it is not an issue. If you want some good conversation and like to watch some TV to relax after a long day it's not an issue either. I would recommend David's place to anyone who needs a place to stay that is clean, safe and convenient.
Another great stay at David's. I would highly recommend David's place to anyone. Great for professionals looking to be close to SFO and many high tech companies as well as Visa and Gilead. Watching the Giants win was fun as well.
Dave and Emil are great host. From the first day I feel like live in my own house. The room is extreme clean and much better than a hotel room. I really enjoy my 2 weeks stay at this place!
This was my first experience with Airbnb and it has exceeded all of my expectations. David takes great pride of his house and keeps it neat and clean at all times. The sports room was great for what I needed (a closet, a desk and a clean comfortable bed). Just like the picture shows, the bed was made with towels, shampoo and chocolates to top it off. In addition David and Camil are great and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a place close to every major Silicon Valley businesses. The shopping plaza around the corner is an added plus.
The house and the room was kept very clean. It was my first experience away from home, and David's hospitality made it feel like a second home. He was friendly and welcoming, as we would enjoy TV shows during weeknights in the living. The location manages to be simultaneously homely and convenient at the same time. The location is on the edge of a shopping center with many restaurants but still maintains a residential character.
Please note that Chris mistakenly used the word "homely" in the review. I believe he meant to use the word "homey". Please see his response below.
"I'm sorry about the "homely" comment. I was acquainted with the word in a context where I inferred the meaning to be "feeling like a home", and I did not bother to look it up. It was only after you replied to the review I looked it up and saw that one of the meanings was plain and unattractive. Is there any way I can change that?"
Bottom-line it was a simple word mix up and no big deal. Thank you, Chris for clearing that up and for the nice review.
