Incredible mountaintop escape with spectacular views, Pelham Pointe is your wonderfully secluded, full-size modern cabin home on 35 private acres of stunning natural beauty! Explore our forested wonderland or simply relax on the spacious deck viewing the endless rural valley below. No tiny living here! World-class hiking, waterfalls, Sewanee & The Caverns are all close by. Totally furnished w/3 bedrooms+2.5 baths, kitchen, laundry, family fun & highspeed WiFi. Only an hour from Nashville & Chatt

The space
Wide-open vistas and private peaceful serenity await your visit to our lovely mountain home. Pelham Pointe's expansive deck matches the views, putting you into the scenery. Our sunsets are simply extraordinary, and when you see one you'll completely understand!

Grill outside with a panoramic view of the valley below, and then continue your viewing pleasure with meals on the deck's iron patio furniture. Later, the backyard fire pit for roasting marshmallows & smores and the deck's classic porch swing await as the evening skies and valley lights magically come alive. Dancing summertime lightning bugs (also known as fireflies) are marvelous after-dark performers, too. The flora, fauna, wildlife, geology, geography and outdoor wonders are all equally inspiring.

Enjoy all the mountain has to offer and embrace your Pelham Pointe experience - you'll feel at home, without want, surrounded by nature's beauty and away from it all. The cabin's natural wood interior is knotty pine with exposed timber - all within a classic, A-frame vaulted open ceiling design. There are board games, puzzles, musical instruments, books, toys, a telescope, binoculars for birdwatching, CDs & movies for the whole family - all with comfortable places and spaces to rest, read and renew.

Free, rock-solid, fiber-optic high-speed internet guest Wi-Fi is available for accessing the digital world for work or play. If you must work away from home, Pelham Pointe is the perfect solution!

Enjoy cooking? The kitchen is well equipped with various tools of the trade necessary for feeding a full-sized gathering, while the convection oven makes baking a breeze. Have a special request? We'll always do our best to help - just let us know.

And yet, you're never too far to get away from it all. *Incredible world-class hiking* at an amazing array of trails and mountain viewpoints. There's an abundance of rivers, streams, lakes and waterfalls (often with swimming holes), rock climbing, caves and so much more, free at nearby Tennessee state parks and forests. *These natural gems are considered among the South's finest offerings and are all a short drive from Pelham Pointe's central location.* Nationally registered historic sites are also just down the road.

Are you a music lover? Make your own at the Pelham Pointe with our bass, percussion, guitars, and other stringed instruments for your cabin playing enjoyment. Incredibly, The Caverns - Bluegrass Underground's new home venue - is just *four miles* around the bend and offers world-class, underground music performances and cave tours. Lovely Monteagle is a six-mile picturesque drive on the historic Dixie Highway. Historic Sewanee University of the South is only 12 miles away, while Winchester, Manchester and Bonnaroo are all just over 16 miles down US-41. Nashville is *barely over an hour's drive* (about 70 miles), while Chattanooga's just 45 minutes away, too.

Our guests value our savings, too - there are *no surcharges* for extra guests and we do not require a separate cleaning fee for stays longer than a single night. (There is an optional cleaning service available if you like.) Come and see why our friends and family love the private serenity at Pelham Pointe Mountaintop Cabin Rental!

Pelham, Tennessee, United States

On the mountain's edge of the Cumberland Plateau, the farming valley below extends for miles and miles into the distant horizon. The nearest neighbors' homes are simply not visible from the cabin - you're all alone on your own personal mountain ridge! And while Pelham Pointe's private 35 acres are a natural wonderland, venturing out yields an amazing collection of Tennessee State Parks, waterways and trails - all an idyllic country drive away. Their offerings are unique, ranging from incredible natural viewpoints, hiking, climbing, caving, fishing, swimming and boating throughout the vast mountains, valleys, waterfalls, lakes and rivers of middle Tennessee. The South Cumberland State Park spans multiple Tennessee counties (Grundy, Marion, Sequatchie & Franklin), consisting of 11 unique sections, and includes an acclaimed variety of hiking trails, waterfalls, scenic overlooks, rock outcroppings and stunning places to enjoy the great outdoors. Leashed pets can even join the fun and get in on the adventures! Emmy award-winning and nationally syndicated, The Bluegrass Underground's newest home, The Caverns, is just four miles around the bend and features world-class music performances and underground tours in an incredible cave setting! Two miles away in town, Simply Southern and Tess's are local favorite restaurants (days and hours of operations vary). And, The Northcutt Family Market is a classic community grocery store with a deli counter and sandwiches that are sure to please. Six miles down the road, Monteagle has all sorts of offerings, including a family fav, the Mountain Goat Market for pizza and such. The Sewanee campus and surrounding restaurants are all a good bet, while Big Marv's BBQ in Winchester is always worth the drive.

Having lived throughout the US and Central America, my family and I absolutely love Tennessee. Nashville's music scene is a big part of our professional lives, and the opportunity to share our passion for mountain living on the South Cumberland Plateau is always a treat. Music culture and country life go hand-in-hand, and hosting folks at Pelham Pointe is a total pleasure!
