Neighborhood and location
House is located in the Berlin district of Kreuzberg/Mitte in the Gitschiner Strasse, a dream location in the heart of Berlin, with shops, restaurants, trendy bars, clubs Insider, trendy brunch cafes and nightlife in the south of the zone. It is a quiet residential street. You have a lot of shopping opportunities around. You live very close to Ostbahnhoff with good connectivity to all in Germany or abroad.
A few steps away to the next U-Bahn (subway) Prinzenstraße or Kotbusser Tor (U8). With public transport you quickly to some of the main attractions of Berlin such as the TV Tower, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate or from your favorite location such as Alexander Platz.

In the lounge there is 1 sleeper sofa that can be converted into a one double bed with linen, two lounge chairs with a round solid wood table or a glass table, dresser with a large flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo, two chairs made of solid Wood, 2 large floor lamps, a large dining table, where you can enjoy a dinner or coffee drinking, a large mirror. The floor is made of high quality laminate.
In addition to the fully equipped with kitchen utensils for 6 people, the kitchen also has the following equipment: refrigerator, electric stove-Cerano, microwave, toaster, blender, kettle, coffee machine. The beautiful solid wood table with eight chairs is perfect for a breakfast (in the living room). The floor is made of high quality laminate.
From living room you have access to the balcony, furnished with a table and two chairs made of wood and wonderfully suited for relaxing outdoors.
In the corridors there is a leather bench, which can be used as a shoe closet, a dresser and a mirror. The floor is made of high quality laminate.
The first bedroom has a double bed with linen and two bedside tables, 2 ceramic lamps and a leather seat. In front of the bed there is also a leather seat. Unsere Mieter sollen sich in ihren Wohnungen wohlfühlen. Eine wesentliche Voraussetzung hierfür ist, dass jeder sich so verhält, als ob Wohnung, Haus und Anlagen sein Eigentum wären und dementsprechend auf Ruhe, Ordnung und Sauberkeit achtet.
1. Vermeiden Sie ruhestörende Geräusche, besonders in der Zeit von 13: 00 bis 15:00 Uhr und von 22:00 bis 7:00 Uhr.
2. Abfälle dürfen nur in die hierfür bestimmten Müllgefäße geschüttet werden, die nach Gebrauch wieder zu schließen sind. Es wird darum gebeten, im Interesse der Kostenbeschränkung die Recyclingbehälter für Glas und Papier zu benutzen. Asche darf erst nach deren Abkühlung in die Müllgefäße geschüttet werden.
3. In Zimmer-, Boden- und Kellerräumen sind der Umgang mit offenem Feuer oder mit glühenden Gegenständen und das Rauchen verboten. Leicht entflammbare Flüssigkeiten (insbesondere Benzol, Benzin, Petroleum, Spiritus und feuergefährliche Lacke) dürfen nicht in Zimmer, Keller- und Bodenräumen gelagert werden.
4. Die Türen zu den zur gemeinschaftlichen Benutzung bestimmten Räumen (Garten, Keller, Böden) sind verschlossen zu halten. Die Anfertigung weiterer Schlüssel ist ohne Erlaubnis der Hausverwaltung unzulässig. Bei Verlust kann die Hausverwaltung eine Änderung des Schlosses zu Lasten des Mieters vornehmen. Nach Benutzung der Gemeinschaftsräume ist das Licht auszuschalten. Die Haustüren sind im Interesse der Sicherheit geschlossen zu (website hidden)- und Hofeingänge, Tordurchfahrten, Müllplätze und deren Zufahrten sowie Feuerwehr- und Wirtschaftswege müssen freigehalten werden und dürfen nicht zum Parken (auch von Fahrrädern) benutzt oder auf andere Weise versperrt werden.
6. In Treppenhäusern, Treppenfluren und Kellergängen dürfen keinerlei Gegenstände (auch Fahrräder und Kinderwagen) abgestellt werden. Wegen der damit verbundenen Unfallgefahr dürfen Fußmatten nicht vor den Wohnungstüren ausgelegt werden.
7. Eine regelmäßige und ausreichende Lüftung (mindestens viermal täglich Stoßlüftung 5 bis 10 Minuten) der Wohnung - auch bei längerer Abwesenheit ist erforderlich. Eine kurze Lüftung, möglichst mit Querlüftung, ist wirksamer als langandauerndes Offenhalten der Fenster. Die Wohnung, vor allem die Küche, darf nicht ins Treppenhaus entlüftet werden.
8. Wasser darf nur für Zwecke innerhalb der Wohnung entnommen werden. Aus den Spreng- und Hausleitungen darf kein Wasser gezapft werden.
9. Die Benutzung der Grillgeräte auf dem Balkon ist nicht gestattet.
10. Für Schaden, die der Hausverwaltung durch eine Unterlassung des Mieters entstehen. Ist der Mieter schadenersatzpflichtig.
This no-nonsense apartment was clean, the beds were nice and the furniture seemed new. We stayed here with 4 people. The apt is not particularly cosy or nice, it's just a functional house. U-bahn station is 5 min walk.
The description of the apartment says nothing about the busy road and the U-bahn rail right in front of the window... If you sit on the balcony, you cannot understand each other through the noise. Also, it's impossible to leave the window open in the night. Most importantly, Kreuzberg sounds very hip and happening, but to be honest, we did not feel too safe on the street outside the apartment. Strangers were making offensive remarks right from the moment when the 3 girls of our group arrived. Bit weird. This is something the owner cannot change of course, but just beware that you need a somewhat thick skin (and deaf ears) when you rent this apt.
Very nice apartment, functional and conform to the description with a good localization closed to transportation. The host was really nice even though we arrived very very late, he gave us some good advices in order to enjoy the neighborhood.

We had a pleasant stay in this apartment. It has the basic needs and is situated near public transport around the corner. The place is clean and easy to reach. Tony gave us a good welcome.
However we should notice that extra costs were omitted from the ad, since the beginning of 2014 Berlin demands 5% tax on all tourist stays unless for business purposes. This should either be stated in the ad or included in the price.
Berlin is a very nice city to stay in!

We stayed here for almost a good week. The place was clean upon arrival, though I experienced some difficulties reaching the host and had to wait outside of the apartment for a half hour before Levan arrived.
Upon arrival Levan showed me around the apartment and then instructed me to pay approximately 50 euro tourists tax. I have traveled all over Europe and this is the first time anyone has ever tried to impose something like this on me. Please beware of this charge as it was addressed no where in the listing description. Personally, to me I consider this slimy business and did not appreciate it.
While staying there the place was half way decent for the most part. Internet was slower than anything I've ever used, and there is no freezer there. The other issue we experienced was that the hot water in the apartment was connected to a fuse box which kept popping in the middle of all of our showers. Yeah, taking cold showers wasn't too much fun. Oh and get ready to squat in the shower because the shower hose is about 3 feet long!
Personally, I would never stay there again, but it's a half way decent apartment cleanliness wise.
Sorry about City-Tax, but you don't pay it to us, you pay it to government, we just take it and send to government. We would be happy to remove this payment, but you have to pay it to government and it is the payment after (phone number hidden).
Sorry, but from our more then 35 apartments it is just a one apartment with small shower, which is even written in description and you can see it even in photos, so please dear guests read the description and see the photos before you book any apartment and after that please don't complain about thing, which is already clearly written in description.
Hosts were very prompt and on time. Apartment is in a great location, close to Prinzenstrasse station. Had a bit of trouble with the neighbours in apartment block letting down my bike tyres, because we were too loud one night. We weren't carrying on, we just had a few drinks and a laugh. There was only 4 of us, we didn't party or anything extreme. Just remain quiet or have you tyres let down. Nothing to do with Levan though, he is fantastic. Other than this it was a great apartment.
